Tonight, 9/6/2023, I tried Burger Baron Arlington Heights for the first time.

When I finally got to try the food, it was actually pretty tasty - I had the Gyro plate with a side of the Greek Potatoes and rice. The gyro meat was very tasty and they give you a ton of meat, the Greek Potatoes were delicious and very well seasoned, the rice was also tasty.

Now I bet you're wondering - why only two stars then if the food was good?

It's because of the service. When I arrived, the order wasn't given to me until almost 20 minutes past the online ready time, and there were only 3 other customers in the restaurant. I arrived home, and noticed that they didn't even give me half of my order (I also ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich for my mom). I drove all the way back to get the sandwich, and then I drove all the way back home. When I finally was about to enjoy my gyro plate, I noticed that they also forgot my taziki sauce for the gyro plate.

I can't recommend this place due to the service, even though prices were reasonable and food was good. Mistakes happen but multiple in one order is a no go for me, sorry Burger Baron but you earned 2 stars from this visit.

I've ordered from here twice, each time has been about the same and I have to be honest I think the Greek Potatoes are better than the burgers! Really cool that they have these on the menu and I will go here over some other places just because they have this item. They are done just right too, with the correct spices, butter, and lemon. Yum!

I've gotten burgers twice here, both have been good. Save yourself a few bucks and go with the 1/3 over the 1/2 pound.

It's not the best burger I've ever had but it definitely hits the target for when you need a burger and want to support local over a chain.

Pro tip: Get the Greek Potatoes instead of the fries!

My husband ordered catering from this spot for a small party we were having. We honestly didn't know what to expect, but the food and service was superb! We ordered 2 pounds of gyro and Italian beefs and our guests were super impressed! The order came with all the fixings - pita, tzatziki, onion and tomato for the gyro and Italian bread, au jus and peppers for the beef sandwiches. When we placed the order, it felt kind of expensive, but honestly, it was so much food and fixings that it felt very reasonable. I should also mention, the staff was super friendly when we picked up our order, which is always a bonus. We will definitely be using this place again for catering!

We were not expecting much based on the outside of the restaurant. It's also the only open business in the plaza which made it seem so ordinary. But when we walked in it was like we walked into a different time! The decor is old school and vintage. It was so nice we decided to dine in. Get the burger. The burger is really good... everything else we ordered was... sad lol but the burger was so good! I like a lot of sauce though and mine came with none so I'll just need to remember to ask for mayo next time!

Fried fish was burned/overcooked - dark brown color. Chicken skewers dry and underseasoned. "Greek" salad was literally just lettuce with ONE olive, ONE cube of feta cheese and ONE tiny tomato - I guess thats enough to call it Greek salad LOL

On positive side gyros plate was a nice portion and fries were good just lacking seasoning.

Probably not gonna order again unless I want a gyro.

My last review was from a meal I had there during the pandemic and it wasn't very positive. I've been there many times since so I thought I'd post an update. It is hands down the best burger I've ever had. I mostly get the bacon and egg burger. It always comes prepared properly. That first bite though. Wow.

Every time i visit the foid is amazing and the service is courteous and very friendly i love burger baron, try the pasticio is great. Philli cheese steaks, veggie burgers, the burgers, the gyros and the hot dogs are the best in the 20 mile radius so if you feel like sure good food, come to burger baron. They have never disappointed me yet. I had a chilli cheese dog today and it was great

This is a family run business that we love. We order from here probably once a month for the past few years. I personally love the bacon and jalapeño cheddar burger. We also love the gyros and Greek potatoes. Can't say enough nice things about this spot. Everyone there is always extremely friendly and the food always hits.

Burgers, fries and Greek food options are all tasty!! George runs a great business. You will see his family helping out!!
