I came to Bumper Medic after my car was hit in a hit-and-run and insurance did not cover. My front left fender, door, and fender liner were damaged. I don't know much about cars, but Alex from Bumper Medic was really kind and let me know that his team could repair the door and keep the fender liner. The fender was beyond repair, so I requested an aftermarket part to replace it, which helped keep costs low. The total price to repair everything was around $1600, which was much cheaper than other quotes I received.

I dropped my car off on a Monday, and was told my car would be ready on Thursday, but received a call on Thursday that it would be ready Friday. Just something to keep in mind if you are planning to take a half day off work to pick up your vehicle. Otherwise the turnaround time was quick!

Well this did it again! Years ago, I visited this place and they fixed my bumper. Told me to come back another time with a bigger problem. Well I did! 8 years later. Great prices. Lots of transparency. Trusted them with my Model Y after vacillating about going to a Tesla certified shop but the waits for those shops were so long and didn't have great reviews. My car looks brand new. Alex, manager, was super responsive on Yelp. He was so approachable and kind. Don't hesitate with this place. It's a diamond in the rough.

Looks like the boo-boo never happened and the tech finished it super quickly.

Alex and his staff were fantastic. Their quote was as much as 60% less than shops in nearby Sorrento Valley. The work was fabulous; they even did a couple small, extra things that other shops were going to charge for. And they are honest. When they realized that a piece of molding that was included in their estimate didn't need to be replaced, they subtracted it from the final bill.

Heaven forbid we have future. need for a body shop. If we do, though, it will be Bumper Medic.

And oh ya, Alex wears cool Padres hats.

This review is just for the service. Called here looking for a quote, got a great price but they couldn't do the paint job as quickly as I needed. They referred me to Bumper Rescue, their sister shop. They made sure to make me reassured and feel comfortable going there, which I'm glad I did. Great service and great job.

I needed to have my rear bumper replaced after being struck on the back passenger corner, which also displaced my blind spot monitor. Bumper Medic's estimate was slightly lower than the others I received.
Alex was great from the first phone call. Through the entire process he was polite, knowledgeable, efficient and very patiently described what each step would be. He kept me updated regularly so I knew how everything was progressing. Alex went above and beyond and made the process easier than it might have been. Had photos to show me everything they did. Highly recommend!

I sent out several requests for online estimates on the very badly damaged lower front bumper.of my beloved VW 2017 Beetle. I included a clear picture of the damage.. Alex responded quickly with a very comprehensive estimate. (All of the other repair shops demanded I make an appointment and bring my car in for an estimate...even though they advertised that they did online estimates.)

I decided after seeing the YELP reviews on Bumper Medic on Miramar Rd to have them fix my problem. I emailed Alex telling him when I wanted to bring the car in. He responded immediately and this afternoon I picked up my car. I almost cried when I saw the beautiful job they did! We paid the original estimate and couldn't be happier about the whole experience. My dad's car got a bad dent from TJ and everywhere we went they told us we have to change the hood and paint it over. Michael saved me few grands and did fabulous job! Thank you so much
