On March 20th I purchased a 2016 ford fusion from Ramone. They made it seem like the ford fusion was the only option they could sell me, even though their slogan is "no credit is bad credit". My mistake for not taking my business elsewhere after being given ONE option. Well not even a week into having it I had to put my car in the shop because it had a hesitation when switching gears. During that time they replaced the whole transmission. My car stayed in the shop for about a month because Budget had bad communication with the warranty, I had to continuesly call and stay on top of them for them to do THEIR job. when we got my car back from the first shop my radio screen had been broken somehow, mind you this isn't even a week into having the car. After we got the car back the problem still persisted. So we had to have our car towed to ANOTHER shop. ( I had to MAKE budget cover the cost of the tow truck) At this point I've made about two months worth of payments on a car I've drove maybe one week. The warranty had covered the cost of those problems.

But there was problems like the brakes needed to be replaced, the spark plugs were bad, the tires were bald, those are a few things that I fixed and paid for myself, because I didn't want to go through the hassle of calling the warranty and budget..

On June 26th we brought the car to the Ford Dealership for the last time to be worked on because there was three recalls and a control arm that was bad.
I was promised that Jimmy Soxx would cover the cost of what the warranty didn't cover.
When the Ford Dealership called for me to pick up the car Jimmy would not answer any texts nor calls, I was left hanging. I had to find a way to come up with about 300$ in order to get my car out of the shop. Jimmy didn't cover anything.
After receiving my car out of the shop in June, only two of the three recalls were replaced and my car CONTINUES to have problems and my radio was never fixed. My car still sputters when I press the gas after stopping. Which is very dangerous when crossing a highway. I bought this car because my previous car was sitting, broke down in my driveway. Now, not even six months later I'm in the same predicament. Except I am now stuck making monthly payments.

Jimmy still refuses to answer texts or calls to fix the car that was sold to me by his business. You're better off buying from a buy here pay here lot. PLEASE, be aware of the run around you're getting yourself into.

I knew going into this that it would probably be a disaster. I worked with salesman from both the Radcliff and Muldraugh locations when I worked at a financial institution in the area several years ago. When you think of the shady things that bottom of the barrel car salesman try to do to people, I saw it out of these salesman.

I was curious about a vehicle that I saw driving by, and simply wanted the year, mileage, and price. Of course, you are not able to get any information from the website. I should have been more mindful before giving my phone number, because I have been inundated with texts and calls (over eight different salesman have attempted to contact me). Leads need to go to ONE salesman, because the constant communication attempts are obnoxious. The first salesman I spoke with told me that the vehicle in question wasn't at his lot, and that I needed to call the other location myself to get the information. He contacted me, I had no idea what location he was at.

I would never purchase a vehicle from this company. Honestly, if I ended up being interested in the vehicle and wanted to purchase I was going to inquire with another dealership about doing a dealer trade. I refuse to give Budget a sale.

Worst experience ever with a dealership. Sales rep was persistent in saying he would help me get into a car over the phone. Came in from an hour drive and filled out all the paperwork just to say my credit wouldn't approve me. And if I wanted to do something I would need 8000$ dollars down to get started in the lowest quality cars they have. payments would be above 800 a month for 6 years and insurance had to be the most best they could push. "For the people"? more like for some people. This place is a complete joke they only go for people with good credit. There's no hope in finding good dealerships anywheres might as well stick to regular buy here pay here's. I will never do business with this company. Especially being degraded about my credit and gave "tips" on how to improve it. Comparing my credit to his like it was some kind of joke. Please don't go to these people. If you do get approved you're trapped in the worst payment plan ever

My wife and I had reservations but went here anyway to test drive a car to help determine if it would be the right car to replace her failing Suzuki. The salesman came out and was waiting at our car before we could even open our car doors. My wife told him that we were just there to see what he had on the lot. We were informed that everyone must go through the "For the People Credit Approval Process" first. We tried to tell him that would not be necessary because we could afford to pay cash but he continually cut us off. We turned away to get back in our car and overheard him say he didn't want to work with people that wouldn't listen to him anyway. This after refusing to listen to what we had told him. Stay away from this place even if it is the last place on earth to buy a car. You would be better off walking than doing business with this dealership.

I would give zero stars but you have to give something. The worst experience ever. Not only deceptive selling practices but straight up lies. Said the price they had was higher because nada prices weren't updated. Had the nada price on the paperwork showing it was overpriced and used this lie to justify it. Took advantage of a young first time car buyer and then still wanted to say they are the dealer for the people. Do NOT buy through them.

Horrible experience. They are friendly till the deal is done. Then they never answer or call you back. Car wasnt even detailed. Tires were crap wouldnt hold air. Finally after 45 days they agreed to pay for 2 tires. If you leave a negative comment on Facebook they delete it and make it so u cant comment. They are calling and text u 20 times a day to get u to come down but once they sell you something there done. I drove a hour to come there and got treated like crap.

I visited this place with a neighbor after she had an accident and needed to replace her car. They will promise you the moon and once they have your money it's DONE. Their cars must have been a part of a former rental car fleet. Their pricing is not too bad and they will finance anyone, but at a very high price.

The best advice I can give you is if you are promised something after sales please make sure that you get it in writing. My neighbor failed to do this and memories seem to fade once the car drives off the lot.

I purchased a 2016 Chevy Sonic from them, long story. Had a 6 year loan, paid it off in 3 years. When it came to following up about the refund for the GAP, I was directed to speak to Fred for this. I began contacting Fred in Nov 2020. All I received was the run a round from Fred, promising to follow up with me and etc, but of course, nothing. It took 7 months of trying to even get the amount or where it was in the process. Once the final conversation occurred on May 25th 2021, Fred gave me the amount, I of course , had several questions to see how they calculated it. Fred then became rude with me stating that he had alot to do and sees that I was "frustrated." All I simply wanted to do was see how they calculated the amount. I asked him for the exact payoff date, which I sent preciously in email. He could not recall the exact date. My dis-trust for this place immediately multiplied. I was HIGHLY OFFENDED that he claims I was frustrated and implied it wasnt worth his time to speak with me when I spent good money there. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN, WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE OR HIGHLY SUGGEST ANYONE EVER GO HERE!!!!. There are plenty of other car lots but this one, is not it.

My experience at the Radcliff location was contrary to everything their "Buyers Bill of Rights" said I could expect. In short, if your (Good person that Bad things have happened too), or in other words, have bad credit, pass on this establishment and look somewhere that won't embarrass you and treat you as a second rate citizen. This business proved to be the exact stereotype you would expect of a sleazy used car lot. AVOID.

After waiting around 10 minutes while the salesman, called about an ice delivery, made popcorn, and milled about in the backroom, he finally took my application, which I informed him would not be stellar. After about another 10 minutes the salesman returned and said that he could do nothing for me. My only options were a cosigner or a significant down payment of 4 to 5 thousand dollars. This is in contrast to #5 of their Buyers Bill of Rights:

      5. You Have The Right To A Fair & Easy Credit Approval Process: I know that bad things happen to good people and that dealing with tough credit challenges can be embarrassing and stressful. That's why I created my "For The People Credit Approval Program." I have valuable relationships that I've built with special lenders and funding sources that can help me solve even the toughest credit situations and have you driving a nicer, newer vehicle today. Hold your head up high... I've got you covered!

Understandably I knew my credit situation would be a challenge but was hoping that Budget would work with me in figuring out a course of action. After I was given those two options, I turned to leave when I got the "Hang on a second, sit back down" portion of the day. He asked if I had any trades and I informed him of two vehicles that needed work, and would not run. He offered zero dollars for either trade in.

It was then that I informed him that I had 1000 dollars for a down payment.
He said there is one vehicle that he would consider putting me in. After 15 minutes of "looking for the key" I was escorted to a back lot and a vehicle that had bald tires, interior was trashed, and the radio was in the trunk. When asked how much this car was, he said "he didn't know yet" but anything on the lot would be 300 dollars for 24 months, at least. That car was a 7-10 thousand dollar car, including the large dent in the side, he replied. I think asked about another car on the lot and was told "that wasn't one of his cars and he can't tell me anything about it." He never offered to find out anything about any other car. As a matter of fact his down payment offering went to 1500 on this recent trade in that had not yet even been serviced.

This salesman then went into a sales pitch that Offended me in front of my father, and was an obvious tactic to get him to be a cosigner. It was a tale of how he had to "teach his daughter a lesson, about saving money." An obvious attack on me and my past. Something the website promised I would not have to endure. He never offered me a price, a plan, or a deal, on how to become a potential customer.

Budget Car Sales of Radcliff went contrary to every single item on their website: http://knoxbudgetcarsales.com/

EVERY SINGLE ITEM. They embarrassed me, and did not even work to form a relationship. Nothing. Avoid this place and find another one willing to work with someone who has been gainfully employed and a long time resident of Hardin County. Just atrocious.
