DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We just had approximately $3000 worth of shades installed, and the installer (Marco) scratched and scuffed the trim of nearly every window he installed them on. The manager (Sean) came to inspect, and then made excuses and refused to compensate us for the damages unless he "fixed them himself." Uh, sorry, no way are you touching the trim on our brand new, high-end custom home, Mr. Manager of Budget Blinds. Cannot believe the utter incompetence of this company.
I'm sure if they respond to this, the might have some excuse to try to convince you this was somehow our fault (though I'm happy for them to prove me wrong and actually make this right). When it comes down to it, there's no excuse for coming into a home to install window coverings, and then damaging the trim.

We are so sorry to hear that you are so dissatisfied with your overall experience. We at Budget strive for customer excellence in both sales and service. Your home is beautiful, and we want nothing less than for our products to enhance that, which we believe they did. Having said that when an issue arises, we always address them quickly and usually without escalation. In your case, unfortunately you made that unavoidable. You mentioned compensation on your initial call to us when complaining of damage. So, we sent the General Manager. The scuffs we observed (as well as in pictures you sent that we requested) didn’t qualify as damage per say. However, when Sean asked if he could grab a rag and wipe it off to make certain there weren’t scratches, he was directed not to. Mrs. Glynn told Sean that her husband asked her not to allow Sean to clean or try anything to remove. Mr. Glynn then called Sean and asked Sean what he would do about compensation for the damage. Sean explained that he would gladly wipe down the window trim, use a scuff removing sponge, and lastly paint the face of trim if the other two options would not work to remove scuffs. To allow us the opportunity to repair the scuffs/scratches could have alleviated this entirely. Mr. Glynn declined our attempt using profanity. Sean exited the premises. Ten minutes later you called Sean asking for the owner’s number. Sean declined to give this number as it isn’t corporate policy to give out the owner’s phone number. You then threatened to sue Budget for not cooperating with you. We were not only cooperating, we were proactively offering solutions. It ended with you calling Sean a “fu@king pathetic” man.
No matter the scenario you have no right to demean another human being. It is literally not acceptable behavior. Morally or legally. We wish you the best and hope that you can allow us to wipe down the trim. - Penny L.Quilcene, WA02Apr 5, 2023
These people have great customer service! Twenty years ago I purchased honeycomb blinds with internal cords for three windows in our home. Three times since then the cords have broken. The first time they fixed it for free since it I had purchased from them and must have been under warranty (long time ago-can't remember the timing!). The second time they charged me a minimal fee which I was happy to pay(I liked the blinds and cheaper to get it fixed than purchase new). This last time, I called to get the blind repaired again, expecting to pay for the fix. They called me back the next day to tell me they were replacing all 3 blinds FOR FREE! I couldn't believe it. I did pay to have them installed since the brackets were different for the new ones but we love them! I can't say enough nice things about Budget Blinds of Poulsbo and their great customer service.

Professional saleswoman. Kind installer. I had an issue and I was told it would be taken care of, a month later I wrote, no reply. Then I called and was essentially told to go pound sand. Absurd their attitude and to tell me "yeah we got your letter last week..." like customer service and getting a letter doesn't alert you something is very wrong. Making a customer jump through hoops to get you to do the right thing is not my choice of places to hand my money to. They are a subcontractor to Costco. Go somewhere else!

Love our new blinds! Shanea was very knowledgeable and helpful in the measuring and ordering process. Then our order arrived a couple of weeks before expected and Matt came out promptly to install them. He was very efficient and helpful. And both of these Budget Blind employees masked up without being asked and, during this uncertain pandemic time, that action was very thoughtful. Thank you!

I highly recommend Poulsbo Budge Blinds! My new cellular blinds were installed today and I'm very happy I made this purchase. The original Levolor venetian style blinds in my condo looked cheap and were heavy to pull up. The new blinds look far more elegant even when they're stowed all the way up. Tia in the office, Zack who measured, and Ian who installed were all super friendly and helpful with my questions. This was a big purchase for me, even with the 20% discount coupon out of the Val-Pak mailing, but I don't regret the splurge one bit!

I had a great experience with the Poulsbo Budget Blinds. Nathan spent a lot of time explaining my options and offering advice. The office staff was pleasant and helpful and my install guy, Ian, did a wonderful job. He even spent a few extra minutes showing me how to remove the blind for the window that will be replaced in the near future. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Budget Blinds. Let's face it - blinds are expensive! A great quality company for a great quality product is essential!

Great prices, wonderful product, and the install was handled beautifully. The staff is courteous, professional, patient, and knowledgeable. I'm pleased with the results and appreciate the help we got from Zack in making our final decision. Poulsbo Budget Blinds was recommended to us by a neighbor. I will be recommending them to the others building new homes around us. They were great.

We had indoor blinds and an outdoor motorized awning installed. It was a very quick install and couldn't have gone better. Nathan and Ian did a super job. Would definitely use them again.

My husband when in today to get help on some blinds and he walked into the store and no one was there , he went to the front desk to get help he even walked behind the counter and no one was in the store. It was at 3:00 an hour before they closed . Where were they ?

We were so very pleased with our purchase and the installation of a retractable awning from Budget Blinds. Tia did the scheduling; Zach came out to do the estimate (he came twice because he wanted to double check things), and the installation crew was amazing. We could not have been any happier. If you care about clear communication from a business, you will be very pleased with Poulsbo's Budget Blinds.
