Husband found this small Cafe off IH20 in Westbrook, Texas! The food was made to order and the service was great. We had the Chicken Fried Steak and Baked Potato/Homemade Fries, they were delicious. We stopped by on a Sunday for lunch and the atmosphere is quaint and friendly.

Unfortunately location doesn't make it great.
After driving by several times I decided to stop for breakfast. There were a few "locals" around talking but for the most part it was pretty slow. I ordered eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon, biscuit and coffee with water. The eggs came out fine but the hash browns were not browned in the least. Coffee and water had an odd taste. The biscuit and bacon were probably much better when they were made earlier (much earlier) in the day.
The second star is for the fast and friendly service but the loss of the third is for NOT having Tabasco.
In place of Tabasco was some 2nd rate bargain hot sauce. I can only guess how many times each morning they are asked for Tabasco, only to disappoint those diners

That is my opinion for what it's wort.

Great food and great service. We had a ham/cheese omelette, biscuit, and a pancake. All of it was fresh and delicious. Coffee was great! Plenty of parking for big rigs. Thank you!

Buck's is a home style restaurant run by the family. Everything is home made and more than reasonably priced. This is the place to stop if you're hungry. Most of the time the pies are homemade. .

Great place to eat. They serve a variety of home style foods also Mexican food. Love the homemade French fries. All food is made to order. They offer daily breakfast and lunch specials.

Opens early and closes about 8 pm, which is late around here. This is a working man's restaurant and there are lots of regulars. She has a fish buffet all day Fridays, and it is really good. There are daily breakfast and lunch specials. The food is mostly fried, but she has fantastic chips and homemade salsa. The prices are reasonable and the service is usually fast.
