The food was excellent and really enough for two meals. What the Kazbours have created is a "culture of excellence" in their business. From the quality of the product (meats and alls sides) through packaging, and employee quality. Highly recommend.

Oh no 0Jan 6, 2019Previous reviewI think the BBQ is very good. What makes it exceptional is the whole experience. Many BBQ restaurants sides are fair to poor. Here attention is paid to everything, from the beans, collards, cole slaw, etc. Even the toast is good. The service is always outstanding. If you go through the drive in it is ready, well packaged and the order is right. I probably have eaten there 20 times over the last couple of years, from Sun City to Dade City and the same experience. There is something for the whole family.

Cans of soda or small bottles of water are $2.75. No specials. Limited menu.
The outside seating is bad. Trash trucks operating right next to the folding tables. The outhouse isn't nice, either.
Just skip this place until they're back operating the right way.

Good afternoon Dan, thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your recent visit today.
I am so sorry that it was not up to your expectations, we have had quite the ride this year after sustaining a major fire that left us with no other option other than to totally rebuild our neighborhood staple. As you can imagine it has been very difficult to do so with the challenge of contractors and post COVID workforce. We opened up the “Parkin’ Lot Pitstop” to help continue to employ our staff and continue to serve our patrons BBQ as they both mean the world to us. I am sorry the tables and seating as well as the “outhouse” did not meet your standards.
We can assure you that the atmosphere and finishes of our new restaurant will knock the socks off your feet, and the same great service and bbq you are used to will have you coming back for more.
We share many of the same frustrations you do and would never want our guests to have an experience like this especially when we are trying our best given the circumstances.
Once again I greatly apologize about your experience today and we ask from the bottom of our heart that you consider removing this negative review as it causes more damage to our small business that so many patronize.Mar 31, 2018Previous reviewA pretty good lunch for $7.50...and that includes a drink.

I will try Bubbaque's again because maybe I just ordered the wrong meat; their brisket was very, very dry. However, they do make some awesome sides (I really liked their mac, fried okra, butter toast, and baked beans). Next time I'll try their ribs.
The service was speedy & attentive, and they did a good job of creating a cozy casual atmosphere.

I can't say enough good things about BubbaQue's! We bought the pork BBQ with the Mac & Cheese and a side of the baked beans. The nice sized pieces of pork in the beans were generous and the taste is very good! The Mac & cheese is flavorful. We'll be back!

The sides of macaroni and cheese and the baked beans are really good and their BBQ sauce is delicious. When my family visits, they usually requests at least 1 meal from Bubbas. We look forward to going into the restaurant now that it's reopened in Sun City Center. I hope folks will give it a try. They won't be disappointed!

Chloe M.Carriage Home, DeLand, FL3921931Jan 2, 2024I was so hungry and it looked so delicious i forgot to take a pic before i dug in. but this bbq is absolutely phenomenal. service is great. its outdoor seating only right now cause there was a fire in the building, but i love some outdoor bbq. ive tried MANY bbq places across the country, mostly in the southeast, and this is easily in my top 3. amazing pulled pork and baked beans, delicious mac and cheese.

Excellent service every time we go into the Sun City location. The pulled pork and BBQ beans are superb. The chicken is good too. I have catered from this location and they did a fantastic job on the catering service too!
