My sis-in-law's sweet dog was killed at this facility!!

      Per my sis-in-law:
My dog (Coco) DIED yesterday at the Flour Bluff Facility. She was a small chihuahua (only 5 pounds). I took her for a oatmeal bath/spa day and they usually keep her up front with them in the office since she is so tiny but Jess (the manager)said she didn't want to continue hearing her bark and whine so she moved her in a room with other clean dogs. One of which was a lab/collie mix that attacked coco and bit and crushed her tummy and chest area puncturing internal organs which led to coco bleeding out within minutes.

I signed a waiver saying she could socialize with other dogs but not large aggressive dogs. Bruno's bathhouse's staff allowed my dog to be killed.

And they didn't tell the owner of the lab/collie mix that their dog KILLED A SMALL DOG yesterday. The owners have no clue. They didn't ban that dog from the facility either. So it will still be there socializing with other dogs. Definitely, don't trust them to keep your pets separated by size either. She was not supposed to be with big dogs.

The General manager said it was a playful act from the lab/collie mix and that Coco was "just small"!
A dog being playful would not kill another dog and Coco was not supposed to be placed in a room with large dogs. Also, Jess told me the other dog had pinned Coco down but when the GM called me she said that Jess saw the dog being playful to her. So the GM is lying.

Also the general manager kept me on the phone for 30 minutes telling me all her personal stories of how she lost pets in her life. Basically trying justify this as "stuff happens". What a waste of time. They were negligent and take zero accountability for the killing of my Coco yesterday.

On their website it states that the dogs are always monitored while socializing but not one person was in that room and there are not any cameras in that room either.

We are beyond devastated. She was our baby girl. She died a gruesome death on a day she was supposed to be getting pampered. I just went to get my sweet Coco from her appointment and left there with her in a box.

Please don't take your fur babies here. It's too dangerous!!

GM Removed the reviews from Bruno's Facebook account... people have a right to know what happened at this facility. There were other reviews of dogs being hurt and bitten by other dogs, also.

(Coco was a sweet dog! She was not aggressive or yappy! She was little and should not have been put in a room with big dogs.)

Normally I will give a business a chance to prove themselves but when it comes to my animals all bets are off. We moved to CC last year and picked a groomer close to our new home. Reviews were good and their first visits were good. Never again will I go. The last couple of times they have left wounds on my dogs butt where the clippers were used. Not only that but this last time, and I do mean last, I get a call after they had been there since 9:30am(6 1/2 hours later) I get a call that the groomer had an emergency and had to leave and they left 3 paws undone on my dog. And I have a boxer/pug mix who I boarded that day and they must have left her outside the whole time because it took us over 30 minutes to cool her down. She was having a really hard time breathing. Granted they waived fees but I will never use them again.

I have been using Bruno's on the Southside for over a year for my Standard Poodle for day care and for grooming. I have been very please with the staff and the care they provide. The groomer has been outstanding in the past, well now they have a different groomer and she obviously did not read the directions as to how I wanted my dog groomed. The groomer shaved my Standard Poodle , her back is cut so close that you can see her skin. I'm so disappointed I can't even tell you. My dog is tall and lanky so she looks like an under fed poodle. I'm embarrassed at the way she looks. They offered some type of spa treatment on her next groom.. that will never happen unless I take her to the Annaville location where the previous groomer now works, that is very talented and caring.I will continue to use daycare because they are all very loving and fond of my girl. Hats off to the caring employees your great at your job! I'm just very disappointed!!!

Solid place, great location, not super busy, smells good inside, they have treats and my dogs seemed pretty happy when i picked them up. Good summer cut, smelled good and looked great. 4 stars just cuz of price, a lil high IMO but not bad.

I took my little rat terrier to be groomed in February and the groomer did a great job and Starr was happy And healthy when we got home so I thought it would be ok to take her to be boarded for a couple days while my husband and I went for a mini vacation. Mistake Big mistake. She has been very lethargic and unhappy since we got home. A normally happy and energetic Little dog is laying around and is afraid of her own shadow. No idea why but if this keeps up I am taking her to the vet. Never Again to brunos.

I've been taking my Maltipoo puppie's to Bruno's since their first groom in August of 2015.
They love to go out to play with other dog's and the staff at Bruno's is the best.
I've never checked out the businesses Facebook page until just now and I was happy to see a few pictures of my baby, Big Tony after his first haircut.

      I've borded them twice.
My first experience with boarding was perfect. The second time, they picked up some digestive issues from something they ate.
Still, I liken it to human baby daycare, sometimes things happen. I appreciate how they let my dog's sleep apart from the other dog's at night and they don't get lonely because they have each other.
I'm happy to have found a place where my fur family can be safe if I need to go out of town.
Thank you to the staff and especially the groomer, Katie! You guys rock!

I have a very rare long haired French bulldog who I trust with NO ONE. I dropped him off for a sanitary cut with Jorden and he was sooo happy to be there! He's such a momma's boy and very nervous, but he walked back to the back like he'd known them his whole life. And he looked so stinkin' cute when I picked him up. Thank you Jorden, Mack loved his time with you and can't wait to come see you aga

Horrible! Went there for dog grooming for my Husky/Golden mix. I provided them three pictures of what I wanted my dog to look like/hair length to be (the cut my dog has had in the past prior to us moving here). I even provided a picture of what NOT to do (a picture of my dog shaved skin-tight). They acknowledged all pictures, said they definitely "wouldn't shave him [skin-tight]," and proceeded to, of course, shave him skin-tight. Also found out they outsource their grooming, so wait times are way longer than expected. Even after horrible hair cuts, no refunds are given; only "corrections." (Yet, when you can't correct shaving a Husky/Golden, you're up sh*ts creek). If you even remotely like your dog, avoid this place!

The best place ever. Second to none. The treated my little Chico like a king. The best gift I gave my best friend before he passed away. Brunos treated him like a little king. God bless

Customer service is appalling. In this day and time, because consumers rely heavily on reviews, customer service better be on par, or a business will suffer. In addition, with mobile pet grooming becoming extremely popular and lucrative, if i was the groomer at Bruno's I would seriously have a problem with Amber being the first interaction my customers see. It was my first time at Bruno's , and I will never return.
