Look for the pink and white striped building. It is a decent sized store with lots to choose from. Nostalgic, jelly beans, pick your own taffy bar, caramel apples and lots of chocolates made on site. To me the taffy tasted a little off but all other chocolate items were very good and fresh.
Counters are high so was a little difficult to get service but they were friendly and patient.

My favorite candy stone when I was a kid. Went back today and just as I remembered. Have cute gifts as well as candy. Friendly and helpful staff. Love their saltwater taffy and homemade chocolates. Very popular place.

3215150Aug 21, 2023Bruce's Candy Kitchen is a delight, from its pink striped exterior to the sheer volume of treats jamming the store floor to ceiling. There is something about going into a store like this as an adult with no limits that adds to the thrill.
Classic candy from Mary Jane's to Lemonheads, licorice of every variety, gummy things, sour things, chocolate things, it's all here. That includes fresh popped and flavored corn, hand made confections, and candy apples.
Sales staff were attentive and busy, keeping the wait to a minimum after you pick your basket of goodies. This is a must stop in Cannon Beach for kids of every age!

I came here because of all of the Oregon YouTube mentions. It is totally worth the trip! The salt water taffy was amazing! This was hands down the best salt water taffy I've had in my life. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because my husband's popcorn was stale there has to be better quality control with that, especially for $6 per bag. The workers were friendly and the restaurant had a huge variety of candy! They even label which taffy contains dairy which was a huge help for me considering I have dietary restrictions! I highly recommend!

I have gone here since I was a kid and I'm 61 now and had sticker shock when I went in a few weeks ago.
Got five pieces of chocolate and it cost seven dollars!
Then unbeknownst to me I discover there's a new candy store in Cannon Beach I was never aware of and boy their prices are a whole lot better in my opinion.Mar 6, 2015Previous reviewI have gone to this candy store since I was a child. I'm nearly 60 now. My husband and I went there last week and bought a lot of candy. Got all the way back home to Oregon city and wasn't too fond of a few of the candies I bought and some were a bit stale and tasted odd. I decided to write the company first rather then do a yelp review! I'm glad I did! They got back to me within two days and not only refunded me in the mail within a couple days the amount I paid for the candy I disliked but also gave me an additional coupon for my next visit with no expiration which is good because I rarely get down to the Oregon coast anymore. Now that's a great business!
The candy store is pleasing to the eye the moment you walk through the door, and the smells delight your senses with intoxicating sweetness! Their saltwater taffy is the best as is some of their chocolates! I can't imagine a person not leaving the store with a bag of candy because it would be hard to not be able to find something you would love including the good old classics from back in the 1950s and 60s! - May 13, 2023
It's all about the salt water taffy when I go to the coast. They make their own here. The other candy store in town doesn't advertise that they make their own. I love picking just the flavors I like. Nice and soft won't pull out your fillings.
