We were just at the Broxton Marine in Temple looking to walk off the lot with a Tahoe boat paying cash. The sales woman who reeked of smoke (both inside the showroom and outdoors) came to try and help us even though she knew nothing about the Tahoe's and admitted it. We had a hard time with this as especially as they only have about 10 boats on the lot, and having a sales person who doesn't know about the boats they are selling does not inspire confidence. We got on the red one, which was covered in dirt, spiders and spider webs... a little hard to imagine enjoying yourself on the water in a boat in that state... but even so we were interested in it. Then we checked out the blue one which was in better shape, but we needed to know more information about it. We asked the smoke covered woman if there was another sales person that would know more about these boats and could answer our questions. She hemmed and hawed, then went inside and came back out with the following response... "well you're stuck with me everyone else is busy." We asked about taking them out on the water to test them out and she then informed us that they do not allow their boats to go out on the water if they are new because then they would be "used". I would love to know how you are supposed to buy something as expensive as a boat without a test drive. What happens when you hate it? Do they take it back? This is just bad business.

Just bought a boat from Broxton Marine. Very helpful people running a consignment boat dealership. Requested a pre buyers inspection which their on site mechanic performed. Boat runs great, very happy with the process.
