Bright Horizons at Bee Cave

My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Bright horizons at Bee Cave. We currently have two children attending there (since 2016)and soon to be one more. Our two older boys also attend their summer programs and drop in program when they don't have school. We love their program and approach to early education. Their hours of operation and the fact that they don't have so many closures during the year help considering my husband and I both work full-time. The director Sharla is wonderful and the teachers are really caring and great with the children. Their clean facility is a plus too! We are excited that they added a kindergarten class for the upcoming school year 2018. Everyone is like family there! You won't be disappointed!

My daughters have been attending Bright Horizons Bee Cave ever since they opened in January 2015. They love going to school and learn so much there! The three playgrounds are awesome with age-appropriate slides, tricycles, sand box, and other fun stuff. The director Sharla and assistant director Jessi do a great job running the school and addressing any concerns. This is one of the few preschools in the area that does not require the children to wear uniforms, and they provide 2-3 snacks and lunch every day which makes life easier for working parents of small children. I especially love receiving updates and pictures of my girls throughout the day!

This is the second review we are writing for Bright Horizons at Bee Cave. In the last few months both the director and our daughter's teacher left Bright Horizons. We were understandably worried: would the folks who took over from them be able to fill their big shoes. We have been very happy to say the answer is a resounding YES. Ms. Vera (the new director) has been awesome. She told us she was mentored by the prior director early in her career - and it shows! And Ms. Cragen (our daughter's new teacher) is amazing. We are very happy. This shows us that the CULTURE at Bright Horizons in Bee Cave has been built right from the ground up and that it influences all new members. I think Bright Horizons, Bee Cave will be a sound choice for families for years to come.

We have been very pleased with Bright Horizon's Kinder Prep Class. Our child missed the kindergarten cutoff by a few weeks but had outgrown his preschool/childcare. It is a beautiful, new facility with a dedicated art room, indoor activity room, and lots of natural light and wood. It is managed well, and the management is responsive and present. The menu is healthy without the standard chicken nuggets and fish sticks. My son's day is very well organized. I love that they allot time for personal hygiene, hand washing, and teeth brushing; there are many sinks in the room that allow this. The curriculum is so creative especially for visual learners. They built a cave for bats in October and now have created a winter hibernation den in the room. Teachers are supplied with smart toys, smart boards, and science kits. They have tricycles and special scooters on the playground. They also have a cooking station and computer station in the room. I feel like our money is being spent well. Ms Cindy and Ms Brittany are wonderful, educated teachers. They control the classroom yet are loving and have a great sense of humor-so important with the little ones! When we work long days, I feel good knowing that he will go outside twice and move around the building rather than being cooped up in one room all day. We are very pleased with our decision.
