We specialize in new age and traditional American cuisine with influences from around the world, as well as exceptional coffee drinks. We serve a great breakfast and lunch all day, with favorites like; our stuffed french toast with hand squeezed orange juice, or our Brick House Blu Burger done anyway you like with hand cut fries or assorted root veggie chips. No worries if you are a vegetarian or some one seeking healthy food alternatives. We offer subs like our Happy Doc stuffed full with grilled eggplant, zucchini, onion and provolone cheese and instead of fries you can get a side of fruit, veggies or a salad. We also offer milk alternatives like soy or coconut milk. Although our breakfast and lunch is one of the best in town our dinner menu is something that cant be beat! Every Thursday through Saturday we offer a menu with class and elegance. This menu changes every week depending on what is local, fresh and ready to harvest from our garden. We also have plenty of out door seating…

Brick House Cafe was my last stop on my visit to Lancaster PA. I was super excited to visit this location based on all the Yelp photos and how cute the restaurant appeared.

The food was very good. I ordered the create your own omelette and it came with toast and potatoes. I also had a pot of tea which was one of the mist flavorful teas I've ever had. Another friend ordered the pancakes and they looked amazing, large, fluffy and scrumptious .

The only issue was the service which is why I gave the restaurant three stars. We sat for almost 30 minutes before we had our drinks brought to us. And the server who took care of us was less than pleasant. She really didn't match the ambience of the café.

The three stars are for the super slow service. we waited 10 to 15 minutes just to get our drink order. No one said be right with you or anything, just kept helping customers as they came in at the register first instead of the customers' lnside. After about 45 mins, we finally got our sandwiches even though mine was a beef cheesesteak instead of chicken like I requested it was very good. They way undercooked moms burger but didn't want to ask to send back because it had already taken so long to get food and forgot her mushrooms on the burger. The homemade ranch and homemade lemonade were good. All in all, the food was good. The service just was not good.

Very cute little cafe. I got a guava something smoothie and it was DELICIOUS. However, they use some type of mix or it's premade in the morning so I couldn't do any substitutions so my lactose intolerant ass wasn't happy afterwords. My friend got a spiced chai which she said was alright but not the best she ever had. We both got muffins and those were really good.

Got here on a Sunday about 20 minutes after they opened. Walking in we were greeted with an empty cafe with no one in sight so we seated ourselves. After a couple minutes a woman walks out and without so much as a smile or a welcome greeting says "Are you here for breakfast?" To which we replied "yes!" She grabbed two pieces of printer paper that she had written on with sharpie which was slightly hard to read. There were only about 4 options for breakfast which was far less than what was on their website menu. Another family walked in and walked out because of the lack of options which the owner responded was because it was Sunday and they had a limited menu to cut down on prep. Wish we would have known that was the case before coming but whatever sometimes limited means everything's more fresh right? Well I got their scrambler with sausage and my girlfriend got a breakfast sandwich, both of which were pretty lack luster in flavor. My hash browns were in fact not brown but just barely heated up. The breakfast sandwich was something I could easily make at home. My girlfriend tried their London fog which had great foam. Overall I would not recommend this place on a Sunday, maybe the rest of the week is a different story though!

Our first visit won't be our last to say the least, the cafe is so warm and welcoming when you enter, the staff was so friendly, the coffee was delicious, and the food was as well, I was to late to take photos of our sandwiches as we devoured them, if you're traveling through manheim stop in, you won't be disappointed.

When we arrived, we were greeted with a grunt and sit over there. The coffee was cold, the portions were large, but the butter was hard and appeared to be over churned. The syrup was fake. Food generally good. In general, we were made to feel like a burden and not a valued customer.

      Updated review

I used to have a 1 star rating for this cafe, but I recently revisited the Brick House Cafe and it was surprisingly good. The food was the same as before, except for the new, smaller menu. I loved the chicken quesadillas that they used to have. The complaint I used to have was the once terrible service. I am pleased to tell you that their service has improved. I will continue to update this review accordingly if I feel they have gotten lazy.

This was our first visit to this adorable cafe. We were intrigued by their interesting menu that popped up somehow on my FB feed. Our server had been there just a few weeks but she was sweet and attentive.
I had the Porchini Dusted Tenderloin which, as I expected, had a unique flavor with the smoked tomatoes and the porchini mushroom dusting. My wife enjoyed the Breaded Chicken Katsu with Japanese style fried chicken over pasta with an Alfredo sauce. We rate our experience and the food a solid four stars.
