Melissa sounds like a great masseuse. However, she unfortunately canceled the massage 15 minutes before she was supposed to arrive, after I had been waiting hours (and incidentally rearranged my afternoon for it). This was because I had not included a phone number in my original booking, which was an optional field. I understand her rationale--she feels bookings without numbers are more suspicious--but it's frustrating for two reasons: 1) this was not a required field, and 2) she waited until 15 minutes before the arrival time to cancel. She explained the reason for the cancelation coming in so late was she only noticed the missing number as she was getting ready.
While this ultimately came down to a misunderstanding, she still would not do the massage tonight after I had confirmed. For clarity, I reached out within 5 minutes of the cancelation, confirmed my phone number, and spoke to her on the phone, so I don't understand how within a 5 minute period she went from available to unavailable. She did offer to rebook another day with an additional 30 minutes for free, but I'm frustrated because I genuinely rearranged my afternoon to make time with Melissa, waited at home for hours, and only found out at a time late in the day when it will be near impossible to find another option--not to mention that the rest of this week isn't available, so a rebooking isn't an option anyway. While I'm assuming positive intent, I can't help but feel that Melissa simply didn't want to do the job at the last minute and found a reason to cancel, since she couldn't explain the sudden unavailability even after confirming my number.
I'm sad to not get to work with Melissa since she does have good reviews otherwise, but this feels unprofessional and ended up wasting several hours of my time. I'm extremely disappointed and won't attempt to do business here again.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Business owner information

Unfortunately decided not to work with Michael after he didn't complete the intake form (missing phone #) & after notifying him, insisted I deliver the session anyway. I don't work with clients who talk to me like that. For reference, the field is in an uneditable section of my scheduling system, yet all fields are obviously required for logistics & safety reasons. I didn't notice the error until it was last minute & offered him a free 30min upgrade the following day, which he refused. Typically clients who skip parts of the form tend to be the unsavory types that I deal with on a daily basis, so I trust my gut no matter what.

Had my first appointment with Melissa today and she was fantastic! Great massage and she is very attentive to your needs and communicates with you through the session. She has a great ability to "read" your body and responds accordingly.

I recently tried this service and was quite impressed. Melissa was amazing! She is the consummate professional and gives a fantastic deep tissue massage. The convenience factor is great. She comes right to your place and is set up in minutes. All this and the price is basically on par with what you pay for service & gratuity (which is included in their charges) at other local massage shops. I have a membership to a local "spa" but will be cancelling that and joining alle.

My husband and I booked in home massages with Melissa on our last weekend before becoming parents. I have had a lot of massages but her prenatal massage was the best in town. She was so professional and kind. The experience was exceptional from start to finish. We have been telling everyone about her services. The price is reasonable and one of the best date night experiences I could ask for! We will be joining the membership program in 2018 once we get adjusted to parent life! Thank you, Melissa for this gem of a business!

My only regret is that I can't pack Melissa up and take her back to South Korea with me!
I'm stationed overseas and was in town for a training class, and between a hectic work schedule, the stress of jetlag and training, and over 24 hours of flying and driving, my entire body was a mess! Melissa's incredible skills put me back in order again, and I could not feel better after she worked on me for two hours. Those awful back crunchies are gone, the stiffness and discomfort are gone, and I'm so relaxed I might as well be made out of butter at this point.
She was extremely prompt and immediately super nice- Melissa has such a lovely warm personality that she put me completely at ease. If it seems weird to have someone come to you instead of going to a massage therapy office, please do NOT let that put you off. You'll be missing out, I promise. It's just a different model, and. It. Works. Great.

HORRIBLE! No call, no show. When I spoke to her an hour after my scheduled time she sounded asleep. If I could leave no stars I would. She was was extremely unphased by my disappointment. I explained to her prior to scheduling that my son had a medical condition so it's hard to find a sitter and that my husband and I hadn't had a date for years and she appeared happy to offer her services. So I prepared for a sitter, woke up early, made my son's meals all in preparation for a masseuse who never showed. Worst experience I have ever encountered with a business. I'm still in shock. She was so nonchalant about not showing. It was just so unbelievable. I'm more hurt than anything else. Once I informed her that I would be leaving my experience/encounter with her company on rating sites she said that it was a threat. Leaving a review is a threat? As you see below she responded to this review claiming I asked her for free services. Not only is that untrue but it doesn't even make sense. She even goes so far as to say I tried to pick her up!!! I have a series of unprofessional and threatening texts from her which is so unusual. Be careful guys! As you guys can see below this woman has an obsession. She recklessly throws words out such as "threats" and "bullying" because she got a bad review for being a no call/ no show. This is business. Sometimes you receive a great review, sometimes not so much. What business do you know sends a slew of text messages to a consumer on their cell phone? Have you ever experienced this? I haven't. She just simply can't seem to let go of the fact that she received a less than perfect...well...horrible review for not calling or showing up to our scheduled appointment. Going back and fourth this way is no way to conduct business. She's literally attacking me for sharing my accurate experience/encounter with her company, which is what yelp is intended for. Please look at other reviews. Some are great and others stated she didn't show as well. Maybe that's an area she could work on. As you guys can see below she just can't help herself from continuing to comment and paint me out to be dishonest..."scary" she went so far as calling me. Luckily, later that day Waterfalls Salon & Mobile Spa came to save the day. I was still able to get my massages so hubby and I were very pleased. They were professional, punctual and fantastic massage therapists. I asked if it were normal to receive so many awful texts from a business like this and I got an emphatic "NO" In my opinion, Melissa will take any measure, including stating I demanded a free session (which is beyond untrue) to redeem herself. She also stated she was going to "warn" businesses about me? Warn away I suppose. She also said I was banned from Allé (through text message of course)...I don't quite understand why she thought I would want to do business with her again anyhow. As I mentioned guys, in my modest opinion, Melissa is simply trying to redeem herself. But the fact of the matter is that she cannot. No Call/ No Show= 0 stars. I'm sorry. And as you can see by the numerous updates she continues to post to my review, she just can't let it go. This is not the behavior of a business. In my opinion Melissa struggles with separating Alle' from Melissa. This is not a typical business/ consumer interaction. She has made this personal which is not what help is intended for. Yelp is intended to help consumers share their experiences with a particular business so they can be properly informed before making a decision to use the company. It's a place to leave a rating and an overall experience. And sadly, Alle' is having trouble understanding this platform. Sending several text messages-personal. Continuously posting to my review-personal. Making false accusations and defaming my character-personal. Most businesses would have left a simple apology and moved on. But not Alle'. Because Melissa cannot seem to separate her personal emotions from her business. It's sad to see this honestly.

Victoria has been banned from booking with allé. She was contacted about rescheduling 3.5 hours before her appointment time. After carefully explaining the situation to her on the phone for 20 minutes, she became hysterical and threatened to post inaccurate reviews unless given a free 1.5 hour session. She insisted on picking me up and bringing me to her house, which I obviously declined for my own safety. Her aggressive reaction was not only inappropriate, it was outright scary. Update: After informing Victoria she was banned and that I shared my experience with Yelp and local massage therapist/business owner groups so they might protect themselves from a similar interaction with her, she updated her review (from , "After which..") to portray these as threats. It's rare that I encounter such an inconsolable client that I can't help, but I will not be bullied online just because this a small business.

I'm a huge fan of Alle Massage. I've been a member for almost year and have really enjoyed this service as part of my self-care routine. The convenience can't be beat- they come to your house instead of you having to go somewhere. As a full-time working mom with two little ones, time is precious so I'm happy to save time in any way I can! I like their pricing structure because gratuity is included. I also appreciate how the therapists are big about having you speak up about what is working and what is not during your massage. I think this was the first time in my life I felt comfortable giving the massage therapist directions or feedback in the process, and it's because they set that up as a protocol from the start. I did have one time that Melissa had to cancel on me because she wasn't feeling well. She did offer me an additional 30 minutes added to my one hour session for rebooking. Now that is turing lemons into lemonade! I was happy to reschedule and pleased that was how she handles her business. I also once missed my booking window for my membership due to having a crazy month (sick children, work overload, funeral out-of-state) and she was kind enough to allow me to book with my credit the next month. So that flexibility goes both ways! Some people wrote negative reviews about cancelations but I wonder how they would react if they were the ones who had to cancel... I am going to bet they would have wanted an opportunity to reschedule and not have someone react they way they did! I have an immense amount of gratitude that I am able to even get massages on a regular basis. Life is so good, people. Do yourself a favor and get the Alle subscription. You will be glad you did.

I booked a massage for my wife online, which was very convenient. Melissa showed up early, got sheets from the hotel for us, and did a great job on the massage. I recommend Brick City Spa to anyone who wants hassle free online booking paired with excellent massages.
