The Whittle is one of my local pubs and restaurants. The menu is extensive and food is reasonably priced, with several offers available. There's something for everyone, and the service is very good. It's a nice place to go for a drink even if you're not eating.

There are often 'early bird' deals on if you eat between certain times.

The Whittle has a small car park but it's also easy to walk to from Brockworth or Cooper's Edge, and it's now on a bus route (number 3 or 4).

This changed from a Brewers fayre to a Toby Carvery in about 2007. Gets very very busy on a sunday, but as the turnover is quick you never have to wait longer than a hour to be seated.

The carvery is very good with Turkey, beef or gammon available(plus there is a vegetarian option) and loads of vegatables. The other thing I like is that you can help yourself to Yorkshire puddings as at other places you can only have the one and smother that in the gravy (of which there are 3/4 types) and you are on the way to being stuffed.
On weekdays other options are available so take a look.
Drinks are typical pub prices and are ok.

Family friendly, but some local familes go every sunday and let their kids run around and make a nuisance of themselves so watch out for them when carrying your plate back to the table.

Enormous restaurant with very good value for money carvery on offer. If you don't want carvery, there is a standard menu too.
Drinks can be bought at the bar or ordered at your table.
The carvery is fantastic - plenty of food in the portions and a range of vegetables and gravy.
It does get very busy in the evenings though (not just at weekends) and you can't book in advance - but if you manage to get a table, it is well worth it!!

Don't miss the gravy though - it's behind you!

The puddings are lovely too! and the staff are really friendly, and actually seem to care whether you are enjoying yourself or not.
