In Solano County, this is the theater I prefer to go to even though it's the farthest from where I live. It feels the safest. It has comfortable reclining seats (except that one time I went, the seat I pre-reserved wasn't working so I was sad face). It has a good selection of decent food, although some of the food takes 15-20 mins to make (eg premium nachos, etc.). & they even serve ice cream from Fenton's Creamery!

If I could give ZERO stars I would, but this review goes to the "Manager" in charge on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 around 7:15-7:30pm, MARK.
My son & his 9 friends (total of 10 kids around 13-14 years of age) all purchased tickets to watch "Thanksgiving"; each one was dropped off by their parents & had already entered the building & was let in. However, a "manager" by the name of "Mark" stopped all the kids by the snack bar, telling them they can't watch the movie because it's rated R & they need an adult. This is the first time we've heard this rule. My older kids including my son, his friends, (and along with other kids his age I have noticed), have always been let into R rated movies. The fact that he turned them away, knowing the movie starts 5-10 minutes, was blatantly RUDE. What did he expect for these kids to do? He saw that there was no adult present so he took advantage of that. He did not offer any alternative, only to tell them "you can't get in" & basically left them hanging. Thankfully my friend (who's daughter was in the group) turned around asked him to refund all their tickets & issue a new movie ticket to watch another movie. Unfortunately, "Wish" was the only movie available at that same time - a movie for little ones, which some of these kids in this group have already watched. It took 20 minutes to process a full refund for 10 kids tickets & missed the first few minutes of Wish. They also got stuck in the very front row. They did not pick this movie with these seats originally. The start time for "Wish" was 7:30pm, pushing the kids' pick up time later & also causing an inconvenience to their parents having to pick them up later. MARK ruined these kids' night. If he is indeed the "manager" then I would expect that he handled this in a better manner. I would like a call back in regards to rectifying tbis situation for the kids. A full refund for each ticket purchased for "Wish" or 10 comp tickets to come back to watch another movie. I won't be the only parent reaching out regarding MARK's careless & utmost unprofessional behavior towards kids. Come on, they are just KIDS who wanted to enjoy a scary movie. Thank God they chose to watch movies than get into trouble on the streets. Workers like MARK need to be retrained on how to treat customers. Just because they are kids does not mean he can treat them like they are stupid. I have left you an online comment card, an official email , subject line "Formal Complaint" and I would like a call back or response via email asap.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 2 - Feb 15, 2024
Went to a matinee here. They have recliner seats which are very comfortable. There were only 4 people in the theater, so I understand the reason to charge so much for popcorn and ice tea.
You also have multiple choices of movies to watch since there are a lot of screens.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 24, 2023
I've never been to Brenden Theatres since i moved to Vacaville. I know, I know..very long time coming! Being from Sacramento, I must admit, I've been pretty spoiled with some pretty nice movie theaters (Shout Out to IMAX and Century Theater Arden!)
I'll give this theater credit, it is pretty big on the inside and has reclining seats. It was pretty dead, but to be fair, it was a Wednesday night. There was a few concession stands, but, only 1 was open. There was popcorn all over the place. The game room was locked up. Honestly, this is one of the most depressing looking movie theaters I have ever seen. The seat I sat in even had popcorn in it.
It's a nice theater, with the bare minimum and large movie screen. It may be awhile before I stop by again. I'll either drive to Concord (Drive in) or Sac to watch a movie next time.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 2 - 887916Jul 29, 2023
Overall a decent theatre. They have the updated comfy recliner seats and a pull out tray to hold your goodies and a cup holder big enough to hold their large drink. Went on a Friday for a matinee showing and it was fairly busy but the concession stand had ample staff so we barely waited at all to get our popcorn and other snacks.
Only reason I took off a star was because of the women's bathroom. One stall was blocked off completely with caution tape because it was missing a door. And once myself and my two daughters(6 & 3) were done doing our business we went to wash our hands only to discover that all the faucets were blazing hot... literally had to cup the water in my hand to cool the water down enough to get the soap off my three year old... told the 6 year old to hold off and to use sanitizer.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Serina J.Vacaville, CA22211042Feb 18, 2024
No one is ever at the door. Concession stand is always out of items or icee machine broken and it's always freezing . I would drive further and have a better experience or wait until it comes out streaming. Movies aren't like they used to be

The reclining seats are nice. But the staff is so avoidant and awkward, it feels like none of them have been trained and they are just doing whatever they feel like. Bizarre. They are nice but the business as a whole is off. Not worth the trade off for the reclining seats, in my opinion.

The last time I've been to the movie theaters was in 2018! It was my 4yo first time and it was an awesome experience for him! We watched Super Mario Bros. After the movie, my son said, "Mama! I liked it!" *happy tears*
Thank you Andrew at the concession stand for being ever so patient since I didn't know what to order.
It was easy getting tickets online and you choose your seats. Click, click, pay and done. I miss when tickets were way less than 10 dollars.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 27, 2022
We came here to watch Avatar and the place is better than the one in Solano Center with reclining seats. We hardly order food but this time we ordered pretzels, popcorn and drinks, pricey for sure but it tasted fine. Overall, good enough theater experience. It's a close call between here and the one in Vallejo. One good note, unlike the AMC at Metreon in SF, there wasn't any rude people scrolling off their phones with the screen on its brightness setting during the movie.

Went to watch Napoleon today in theater 8. We froze our butts off. Apparently the air conditioner was on. We were on row G higher up on n the rows and could feel the cold air blowing. So cold we left 40 minutes early. I mentioned it to staff behind the customer service desk. She offered no explanation and just seemed unamused. That was the price of 2 tickets and snacks wasted!
