My wife has been trying to get me to eat healthier and I truly do want to do so. However, as with most everyday people's hectic lifestyle(s), I'm more inclined to go to my neighborhood Starbucks and enjoy four shots of espresso to jolt my system. Something I'm slowly trying to work into my routine is this novel concept of a healthier option, say a nutritious vegetable/fruit smoothie. This is where Breathe comes in.
While I haven't totally jumped on board with the "eat more Kale" clan, I am open to trying new things. In lieu of my standard after lunch time coffee run, I substituted one of those trips with a stop @ Breathe and partook in a delicious "Caribbean Cooler," which consisted of strawberries, banana, pineapple and soymilk. It was fantastic. The young lady working the counter was very friendly and the entire place just seems relaxing and inviting. The price was a bit steep at about $7 for the frozen concoction however when you consider the price of Organic fruits and vegetables these days and how much of this product actually goes into a smoothie, it's not that bad of a deal. And I didn't even have to wash the blender afterwards.
Breathe is definitely a great way to get in a healthier option for those routine days.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Steph W.Reston, VA022Oct 19, 2023
I was visiting Rochester and went to a power flow class. The yoga room is upstairs and it is nice and warm. There is space marking for mats on the floor. There is a coffee/juice shop and what looked like a clothing goods shop in the first floor. The class was good.

If you are looking to do yoga for the atmosphere and relaxation, this is hands down the best place to go in Rochester.
While every location and instructor has their own pace and style, each class has a similar format and feeling. I had a living yoga membership for a year and not once got bored going at least 4 days a week with the many class options, locations and instructors. The classes are costly however.
If you are interested in yoga for more of the fitness aspect, there are other options in Rochester that you may prefer and are more upbeat and fast paced and possibly cheaper, but the atmosphere is not the same. however I've never sweat more than in a full class in the pittsford breathe location. I also really like the downtown location. If you don't want a lot of heat, then collegetown may be the best one to try.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

So I was down the street visiting the Breathe Home store and figured I'd come in for a visit. They teach classes here and have a retail/juice bar space. I have not taken yoga here it at other locations like the Downtown Annex and College Town. This location has lots of clothes, Crystals,Buddha of course, books on Meditation and Yoga and etc.. I saw a Davidji book incidentally he came here for a workshop and it sold out quickly that's something I would have liked to go to.. ok off topic. When you walk in it also smells good.. yes they have candles and incense. When I walked in a younger girl was up front with the register and doing somethings around the store. She greeted me but I got the feeling she was just annoyed in general or that a bunch of high school aged kids came in and were just walking around.. who knows. The inside of this space is a bit warmer in color. It's a long narrow store. From what I could see they had some nice things. I believe the yoga goes on upstairs? I than went to the juice bar part and I ordered a smoothie the Cacao Berry (cacao, strawberries, almond milk and more in it I believe) it was good the price points for these smoothies seems to be on par with JustJuice4Life which in my opinion Damaris and her crew make a better product. The staff at the juice bar are friendly and pleasant. You order, they take your name, make your drink than put it on the shelf. While I was waiting for my drink as other people were I looked around a bit. The Breathe Group as I will call them have a very specific look and vibe. I'm down it's about continuity and to make you feel relaxed. They have a printed out schedule by the register at the juice bar. They have seating to just hang out or sit with your juice/smoothie and yes they do have some food behind the counter and some coolers filled with water and etc. If you want to know about classes they have an excellent website that gives you a schedule for all locations. The price point is moderate/expensive considering what you are looking at regarding the store also for yoga they seem to be the most expensive in town a drop in class is $20. They do 30 Days Unlimited for $40 for Yoga/Meditation Classes. I'd recommend that to get a taste of Breathe's classes. Other than that it's a nice location on Pittsford's Main Street. Street parking (they may have a lot but I'm not sure) Namaste!

This is a really beautiful studio with great teachers, great snacks and smoothies, and very nice accommodations in general. I especially appreciate that the kitchen offers a variety of vegan treats.
This location is clean and well-maintained and there always seems to be enough parking, which is surprising given its popularity. The yoga room can get very hot, but some people prefer that.
Breathe can be rather pricey. This location also has a shop which sells very expensive clothing, crystals, essential oils, and other woo-woo. To me, it makes the whole place seem sanctimonious and insincere. I also wish the kitchen wouldn't advertise juice cleanses. I think that's as irresponsible as it is unscientific.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

Have been to breathe to stop in for a healthy snack and a few juices. I like to buy a few of the freshly squeezed juices for the week. They have so many combination flavors to try and I love that. They also sell smoothies and other organic treats to try.
You will definitely pay a lot but you can tell it is fresh ingredients so for me it is worth it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

There is no better yoga studio in the country. And I have been to many and own my own!! I am blown away each time I visit and you will be too. The yoga is unsurpassed. The juice bar is the best I've ever been to. The shopping and stores are so fun. But mostly it's the people - they are what make breathe yoga what it is ... beyond all expectation!!! Love is everywhere at breathe
