Amazing. Fresh and super duper friendly!
We buy the cookies and pastries and freeze them and they're as delicious as ever!
I highly recommend the oatmeal cookies, lemon loaf and almond croissants, which are a triumph!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 31288Dec 6, 2023
Wow... 20 out of 10. Beautiful place ... clean and modern So many pastries and fresh bread to take home. Staff are so friendly. Right now I am eating a Golden beet bagel and I am going to take one of the salmon bagels home for my husband. I am loving this beet bagel.. What a flavor combination. Coffee is also out of this world... Best of all they allow dogs inside the place with no questions or problems. I'm in Rhinebeck all the time and I never come here. I've really been missing out. Can't wait to come back with my fur baby.

A must in Rhinebeck. The bread on sandwich will beat any place in Rhinebeck and rest of our Milky Way galaxy. Fresh avacado. Sausage flavorful and light. Crispy arugula for your healthy choice of greens.
... and the coffee is solid.

Stopped in on my way back to Philly. It's a cute bakery with indoor and outdoor seating. There was a large selection of breads and pastries. It was pretty packed but it didn't take long to get our food. We opted for egg and cheese sandwiches and ice coffee. You have to add your own milk and sugar here. Overall, our food and coffee were delicious and the bread soft. I'd return if I am back in the area.

Bread Alone Bakery is located in the charming & historic part of Rhinebeck. They have plenty of indoor seating and a small outdoor patio area. I have a feeling that my experience may have been better if I visited earlier in the day when items were baked fresh or if I had gotten breakfast or lunch. We got a chocolate chip cookie and an almond croissant, both of which were decent, but not great with regards to recipe. The chocolate chip cookie was nothing to write home about, as I've had much better. The almond croissant had lost it's flakiness by midday and was similarly underwhelming. They are about $8 which is a bit on the pricier side, but not unreasonable. I might return in the future, but will stick to breads & food items which seem to get rave reviews.

Fabulous bakery! Yummy croissant & great latte. I also splurged on a sandwich to take with me and it was absolutely delicious!

I was excited to grab something sweat after our dinner and didn't seem much was there at the time. An hour before closing, everything looked bare. I asked for a double espresso, which for the record is 2 oz. What I got was barely an ounce. I went over to the counter where this smug manager (I believe) said it was definitely two shots of espresso. You might want to recalibrate your machine or at the very least actually look at what 2 fluid ounces are. It was a disappointing experience and the employees seemed ill mannered. If I was a franchisee, I wouldn't be too happy.

Quality sandwiches, excellent bread. Seat yourself in this casual, order at the counter cafe. A little pricey, but what isn't these days? A solid choice in a charming village.

I had always seen bread alone bread at the local grocery store and was curious to visit their cafe when I learned about it. We ordered coffee - cappuccino and latte both were good. We also ordered a squash and halloumi sandwich it was delicious. I have to visit this place for breakfast and try all their baked goods.
Great ambiance, polite staff, and yummy food - must visit!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
