I don't know where all the negativity is stemming from. I think you gotta view the product holistically and if you try it and like the results, that's great. I fully enjoyed my time at Umass Global. I even referred my soon to be wife, and she's graduating in a year. Clearly they are doing something right. Make sure to do Walnut Creek campus imho, best counselors...but then again, I never tried the others. Probably all good. But I know for sure WC is the best. Update: I'm in law school now.

      What. A. Scam.

So after the thousands and thousands you give these people in tuition, and finally make it to graduation. They hold your diploma hostage until you pay the random $150 "conferral fee" that they don't tell you about until you graduate. Keep the piece of paper, I'm not giving you another dime.

Totally misled to the requirements of the autism authorization program. Classic bait and switch. Even one of their professors, Ann Spillane, admitted they were not responsible for the fact their program did not match the promotional material. Very frustrating experience.

DO NOT enroll at this university. It is a total scam! They teach to lowest common denominator, they have poor quality instructors and course materials, and have absolutely zero customer service. This is not a college, it's a predatory business. They take your money and then if you have any complaints or issues for an inferior product, they shut you down and avoid you. What's worse is that they do not even try to hide their disdain for their students. Brandman used to be Chapman. They use this as a hook. This not not Chapman by far. I was actually told by Chapman they are not affiliated with them anymore. Save your money and go to a reputable school. You are worth it.

I got a degree in legal studies from Brandman which helped me a lot in my career. That degree, along with my experience; now I am a managing senior paralegal within a prestige and growing law firm. I have never had an issue with my BA degree looking for work; in fact, was interviewed by the probations office, sheriffs office and City of Riverside for positions all within 3 months after graduation. My degree got me through the door for interviews. I actually turned down one of the state jobs for what I have now. I even still to this day have been getting email and/or calls from other places that I applied too, that want to talk to me about salary proposes even before the interviews. So, with all said, its what you do with yourself promotional wise and being persistent on finding what you want. So all these people saying bad things, well, Brandman worked for me. Lastly, I am considering going back for a Masters in the near future to further my career.
