Braga’s Driving School

Awful driving school. Booked and paid for 1 hour lesson and use of car, didn't let us touch the steering wheel and went straight to the testing site. When tried to explain what service we had booked, Ron has given us a million excuses and a ton of attitude. Braga's Driving School is the cheapest in the area but also the worst (I guess you get what you pay for). A ton of attitude and screaming. My suggestion would be for Ron to attend anger management classes, and change professions to stay away from customers, and ESPECIALLY new drivers on the road.

Awful. They didn't teach my son how to park and they never took him on the highway. They took money for my daughter's permit but never got it. I don't recommend this school.

Big thank you to Fernando. Great teacher and was very help during the day of my road test. I was extremely nervous however with the help of Fernando he helped calm me down and help reassure me that I was going to pass my road test. With luck and his tricks I was able to pass and did not feel nervous instead I felt confident. So again huge thank you to him. Would definitely recommend!

Here is my review of Ron of Bragas driving school. I paid for six classes as a new driver, and spent four classes simply driving around. Ron never taught me to parallel park, turn, or anything else. On top of that, he yells, like a lot!

Here's a tip: Ron, screaming at a new driver, is the absolute worst thing that you can do in your 55 years. I completed the fourth class completely disheartened and basically afraid to drive. I called my mom and told her that I'm scared to drive, but of course, my mom explained that the purpose of a driving instructor is patience, and Ron failed miserably in that area. By the fourth session, I was shaking. I'm so upset that he trains that way.

I started with a new instructor today, and in just one session, I felt comfortable, and my anxiety was gone. Do yourself a favor... and call someone else. This guy is the worst!

Fernando is a great instructor. He gives you so much confidence that makes the process fast and simple. His small card is great for your driving test, makes it so much easier to parallel park. Passed my driving test from the first time after only 1 lesson. Best driving school in the area.

I was overly delayed with starting lessons, contacting Ron within 3 WEEKS of my road test with no driving experience whatsoever. Despite the predicament, he was able to fully teach me how to drive, enough so to ace my road test. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because Ron would be visibly upset over my driving anxiety issues, which would make me even more uneasy during the teachings. It's not the biggest gripe and being taught how to drive in such little time mostly makes up for it, I just wish he would've been more understanding and verbally patient with me.

I've searched many years for a great driving instructor . Being that I'm 27 , acquiring my license has been a 10 year journey. With 1 month till my permit expired , I finally reached out to Braga after reading amazing Google reviews of the primary instructor Fernando.
So I've never driven in my life ( not even around the block ) and had 1 month to become sufficient.
Are you shocked he took on the challenge !? I was !
From the very 1st lesson , Fernando was amazing. He continuously built my confidence , reassured me with constructive criticism , & most importantly had faith in me. For 6 weeks he promptly scheduled 1-2 , 2 hour lessons & arrived to my home on time for each session.
He assisted me on scheduling my drivers exam, the morning of , he picked me up 2 hours earlier & really worked on perfecting my comfort with operating the vehicle . He required me to perform a mock test of the location I chose ( Edison ) and it was exactly how it was the morning of the test .
So I had no jitters or fear of the unknown , low & behold ; I passed :) after 10 years , FINALLY some one said " you can do this ! " ( for those who aren't blessed w great parents / support network /spouse & are just on your own ) . Thank you Fernando , Thank you Braga Driving school . There is no dollar amount or value that can measure with your passion that goes beyond professionalism to change the lives of others.

My sister and I where both taught by Fernando and passed first try ! He was very kind and patient overall a fantastic instructor 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I've heard a lot of stories about driving schools and how horrible some of the driving instructors can be, but I gotta say Braga's driving school is far from that from Fernando (driving instructor) really help me to boost my Confidence while driving he really goes into detail on what you should and shouldn't do while on the road . The lesion are very Affordable and there pretty Flexible with Scheduling appointments. I would Recommend this School to any first time drivers.
