We have been so fortunate to have Rosanne care for our many cats, including those with medical issues for almost 20 years. As a vet tech. and trained professional, I can trust her advice and know she has the best interest of my animal in mind. Travelling internationally, I have absolute confidence she will turn up, never let me down, care for my cat and home and inform me of any potential issues. It's hard to put everything we feel about Rosanne into just a few words. She has cared for our furry cat children for the past 27 years! She's been with us as we suffered the loss of 3 of our babies over the years, and she has become a part of our family in many ways. Our current kitties, Isabella and Mary, are now 17 and 18 years old respectively, and Rosanne has cared for them since they came to us 17 years ago. Whenever we're away, she lives in our home, giving them the comfort and security they need. Knowing she's here when we're not gives us the same sense of comfort and security. We have used Bow-Wows and Whiskers since the mid-1990s. Roseanne LeSage, the owner, has been amazing with our pets, even when they had extra needs and health problems. She is an expert with many kinds of animals, including rabbits, which is the kind of pets we had. She is patient, thorough, and extremely attentive to details. Now that we no longer have pets, she is still our house sitter when we travel--she stops in and checks on our home every day. It's such a comfort and provides amazing peace of mind. Roseanne has become a part of our reliable extended family. She even came to our wedding! I can't recommend a more effective, reliable, and trustworthy company! Use this service--it will add a whole new dimension to your life!

Rosanne is the second mother to our fur baby. She is excellent, professional, high energy, caring and experienced and best part our boy loves her. We highly recommend her for vacation pet sitting stay overs.

Rosanne took care of our two cats for almost three weeks at short notice and she did an amazing job. They were loved and cared for like we were home the entire time and it showed when we did return - their behavior was relaxed and pleasant rather than their usual fussiness and anxiousness.

Additionally, she watered our plants and even took in our mail and put out our garbage! Talk about service!

We will not hesitate to use Bow Wow's and Whiskers Pet Care again when we travel. We are giving them our highest recommendation!

My husband and I both work from home, so our cats have been raised as a 'pack' with people around nearly 24/7 and it was always a worry when we had to leave them home alone. My family usually takes care of my cats and understands their quirks as well as their NEED to be held and cuddled and talked to and sung to. So it was upsetting when we had to leave town and no one was available to care for my cat, Rocket, who was newly single (his older brother had passed away just 2 months before). I called our vet and asked for a recommendation and they heartily endorsed Rosanne.

From the start, Rosanne was wonderful. She responded to my inquiry quickly and came by our house for an introductory appointment. She came to the house and stayed for a while to interact with our cat - and us - and get to know us as a family. It was very reassuring and she has such a calm demeanor and you know right away that she's not just feeding your pets but truly caring for them.

She was able to determine that based on his personality, Rocket would need extra attention and care and she was able to adjust her visitation schedule to ensure that he was not just fed, but had plenty of time for playing and snuggling - two things that are very important to him, especially with his best pal "Monster" (his fuzzy toy that he carries around with him constantly). We enjoyed her daily updates and she even had us check in with her to confirm that we got home safely (even though it was late at night), in case we were delayed and needed her services again in the morning.

But the best endorsement of all was from Rocket himself, who was happy as a clam when we got home. Not at all clingy or needy, which meant that he was happy and well-cared for. He and Monster had a great time and were happy to have made a new friend. In fact, he seemed a little disappointed that it was only "us" coming home!

I called Roseanne for last minute overnight sitting for my frenchie. While we didn't end up using her, (because they were taking the rare weekend off)I was so impressed with how much she cared about my situation that I felt compelled to write a review. She recommended a really great boarding facility nearby and was very personable and was the only one that got back to me within an hour of me calling. I had left other services VM's that went unreturned. When we need to go out of town next, I will definitely be giving them a try!!!

My dog Chance is a rescue dog who was abused as a puppy and placed in a garbage bag beaten up and thrown over a boat into a Nevada river to drown. By the grace of God, he was rescued by a little girl and her father who were fishing in the river and saw this happen, and were able to rescue him before he completely drowned. Given Chances name as in Second Chance in life. Obviously, Chance has anxiety and fear of people, especially men. For the 10 years I have had him, he has only had a dog sitter twice before we found Rosanne.

Rosanne is wonderful with animals. She not only was able to get Chance to come to her, but she was able to recognize his lack of eating at times was due to having GI problems. With the help of the veterinary, she was able to help me put him on specialty food that is healthy, and good for his stomach. This decreased his anxiety and he was able to eat all of his meals, and is much happier.

Rosanne is a true animal lover and professional. Chance loves her and so do I! I wouldn't have anyone else watch my baby. Chance is the most gentle dog I have ever had and is incredibly smart. He can tell how much Rosanne loves him and feels very comfortable around her. Now I can actually go on vacation knowing that my baby is being taken care of 110%. There is something to be said about having a peace of mind.

Rosanne goes above and beyond when it comes to animal sitting. She doesn't just feed and walk your loved one like others do, she plays and stays around even overnight if needed, until they are adjusted to her and cared for. I have utilized doggie day cares with Chance and he is the most comfortable with Rosanne. He is very happy and acts like a puppy again around her. I highly recommend her to care and love for your loved one!
