Wow! What a place! Came here for an open bounce with my three year old son and he fell in love with the place. He loved it so much we booked a birthday party here.
Pro's:
-Offers various open bounce times with bubbles or Cosmo
-Decently priced
-Facility is super clean
-Shows a video for safety and rules
-No special bouncing socks needed, just bring regular socks
-Well organized
-Two rooms of various inflatables; kids never got bored!
-Great for the "big kids" (adults) too! ;-)
-Staff is very helpful and friendly
-HUGE shout out to Joe!! Love the new manager! He is very friendly!
-Birthday party:
-EASY! I have an infant as well and slacked on doing my "typical" birthday party for my son. Needless to say there was no slacking at all except for me sitting back and letting BounceU take care of it all.
-Private party with time in both inflatable rooms and a party room
-Staffing (set up, clean up, serves pizza to the kids, cuts cake, watches the time, escorts the guests to the next room/activity, bags the gifts, and rolls it out to your car) DONE!
-Provides utensils, paper goods, and invitations
-Offers different birthday party packages to fit your child or budget ;-)
-Pizza is delivered from Milanos!! Huge plus! YUM!!
-Received so many comments for the party both from the kids and parents; everyone had a great time!
Con's:
-Some of the younger staff members could be a little more active or lively ;-)
Will definitely have another party here or come to an open bounce. Highly recommend!!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

BounceU Clarksburg has recently been taken over by new owners. They rennovated the store and it looks amazing. They also added new inflatables, even some geared towards younger kids. The glow and special effects lighting, bubbles and balloon drops are really amazing. The kids go crazy!
I highly recommend checking it out for an open session or for a birthday party. The private party aspect really allows the party to be special and personalized. Not having strangers next to you during your kid's special day is a huge relief. A stress free party with no clean up? Sign me up!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jackie W.Germantown, MD599868May 13, 2017
Went to the new Clarksburg location for a 3 year olds birthday party. First off, it was very clean! I was impressed. Also, it was very organized. The children started in one bounce room and just about the time they started getting bored, they are moved to the second bounce room. Then on to the party room for pizza and cake.
The best part for the parents is no cleanup! They take care of it all.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - L V.Germantown, MD053Sep 29, 2019
This Bounce U is very clean and the staff including the manager was very friendly. The first bounce room was okay but the second bounce room was very good. The bubbles were a bust. I would not recommend bubbles ( they are released in 3 bursts intermittently). The kids were excited when the bubbles were first released and after that they went back to jumping right away. Their attention span on that was maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Not worth the $30 (we got it free because they accidentally released it, but if we had asked and paid for it I would have been disappointed). The glow OTOH was awesome. The kids had a blast with the glow. Definitely recommend (we got this free due to a promotion but even if we didn't and had to pay $30 per room, I would still recommend it. So worth it if your kids are 5 and older)
Party room: Room was very spacious. Staff was very friendly when it came to how we wanted it setup and did as we asked. However they seemed exhausted and probably because of this, they forgot about the cake cutting after blowing the candles (and so did we) and also a group picture near the throne which we had asked for (not a deal breaker but would have loved a picture of all the kids there). The treasure chest at the end was a bit weird for the parents as they didn't know if it was appropriate to leave when birthday child was taking a long time digging through the chest at the end of the party.
Suggestions: Cut 5 min from bounce room 1 (since room 2 is more fun) to accomodate a group picture near the throne (maybe right after cake cutting before food is served). Do the group pic on the slide also in the first room to save time. Do the treasure chest thing when cake is being served and birthday kid is on throne. One staff member could cut the cake and the other do the treasure chest. It would avoid the awkwardness when other kids just stand around to watch at the end. Count the number of kids in the party room when they are eating.
Overall: Friendly staff but looks like you have to remind them if they forget something. Clean facility. Nice private bounce rooms. The glow package is a must if you have a party here. Food from Milano's was good. I would have given 5 stars if we got the cake cutting done, had the requested group pic near the throne, and did not feel rushed at the end. We used a promo code from their website so look out for those or the groupons before booking. Thank you to the manager and party planner who honored the free glow/bubbles promo which was actually valid the previous week.
I definitely recommend this facility.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erik W.Washington, DC32151Dec 1, 2018
The little one's had fun the 2 times I went 7 months ago but I have not had a chance to go back since. This location must be booking parties all the time because there is never open play on any day of the week over the last several months. other than that it was good.

Wow...I can't believe they're closed. I came on here to write a review for a party we just had at BounceU on Saturday. Our party pros Seimone and this other girl (couldn't get her name tag from the pix I took) were awesome. Kids big and small and the adults had a great time. This is a good place to throw a party because the party pros pretty does everything from activities, setting up food and cleaning up. I've been having mom brain lately with a newborn so I forgot to tip the girls before I left. I called on Sunday and spoke to the manager - Mariah. She wasn't able to reopen the receipt for me to add the tip so we dropped off $50 in cash. I hope it made it to the girls!

Went there tonight for a birthday party very clean, manager on duty was very friendly. Party hosts were okay. They kept the event moving along and took lots of great pictures throughout the event. The music they played was very upbeat and kid friendly which was nice compared to a lot of other places. I will definitely be back, I do wish the staff was a little more upbeat and interactive but all in all it was a good experience .

Ryan - Thanks for the great review and feedback. I have passed this over to our General Manager to use as a training opportunity for the staff. We are very focused on the customer experience and making sure that our guests are having the best time ever. We hope you will come back and visit us for a future event. -Paige

I love going BounceU for birthday parties, since I am adult and they allow me to bounce along with the children. I have been there about 4-8 times, and each time I have been there the party is a little different due to which staff members are there. One birthday party I went to last year was a blast since the two staff members were in with the party making sure that all the kids were having fun. The children were about 2-5 years old in the mix which was great. They went down the big slide with the 2 year old since she was smaller.
I have never had a boring time at a bounce U. During a birthday party, they give all the children hand sanitizer before entering a new room. But remember to bring socks since they won't let you bounce without them. There are two room and they let the children bounce in each room for about 30 minutes and the last hour is reserved for the pizza and cake for the birthday. I believe they get their pizza from Pizza 500 which is like down the street.
I know that they do summer, spring break, and I think winter break camps for children. Most of the time it is crafts, bouncing and movie watching. I heard this from a parent that worked near the BounceU and would frequently pop in to check in on her child. She did not like the fact that she was paying for her child to watch movies all day.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Karyl C.Potomac, MD493Aug 19, 2016
Bought a groupon for a party. The party was cancelled due to snow (understandable--since it was the snowmageddon weekend). They left a voicemail a few days later to reschedule. I attempted to call them back/left messages to get a reschedule date. After much runaround for a few weeks, we got a date scheduled on a mutually agreeable date. Whenever I called about the event, the response I got from the employees on the phone left me scratching my head, like maybe they didn't know what was going on.
On the day of the event, when we showed up, they said there was no party scheduled in our name. They called in an employee who had just left for the day to return. We were grateful that she turned around to make the party happen (thus the 2 stars instead of 1), but very taken aback that the back of the house did not do their work in getting us into the system officially. They said they left messages but I only received messages for cake orders (didn't need a cake) and payment (I had already given them the full voucher code and explained we were rescheduling due to them cancelling). As our little ones were waiting to get in, we were offered the following: pay extra because our voucher had expired by that time (duh--remember the snow when YOU GUYS cancelled on us?), giving us only the expired value. I ended up paying something like $150 extra on my credit card simply because I could not let my little ones down. The manager wasn't even available to speak to me on the phone even though she was aware of the issue at that moment. She just kept going back and forth with the other employee via text message during this interaction. When I emailed her the next day to request a refund for the amount I had paid on my credit card, she outright refused. We went back and forth via email and she Had I felt that I was even 30% in the wrong, I would not have minded paying the extra. When I asked to speak to the actual owner of the business, the manager said he was very sick and wouldn't be available to speak with me. I own a business and many guests try to use their groupon past the expiration date. But if we closed and cancelled an event at my business, and then had to reschedule their event, I certainly would honor the full voucher value. I used to think the Clarksburg location was a bit better, even a tad cleaner that the location in Rockville although I have had less issues at the Rockville location. I have a group of kids who still love to bounce. But we will take our business to the trampoline park near Airpark or Pump It Up which has a better and more streamlined communication system. A once a year party that is not worth the risk of ineffective back of the house communication and unfair surcharges. It should be a day with happy memories and laughter, not frustration with a stubbornly bad aftertaste.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sokha A.Potomac, MD24693449Apr 9, 2012
My kids love this place (preschool and elementary aged)! Great indoor place space; staff are hospitable, energetic, and actually enjoy working/playing with the kids. Came in a couple times during the week, during non-peak hours and the staff actually played games and bounced around with my son - he loved it! Came for a couple of birthday parties, also; they do a great job. Entrance is not off the main road, so a little difficult to find the first time, and parking is sparse on the weekend, but during the week, it's not an issue.
