Honestly do not understand the good reviews. The worst pedi i have ever gotten. Bought a special with "sparkling pumpkin wine". They offered us coffee. No. Offered us wine later. No. What about the pumpkin wine? Oh we are all out. No sorry, nothing. And the pedi was so bad. No attention AT ALL to callouses. No scrub no filing. My feet were as rough after as before.
I have had many many pedicures and this was the WORST.
And to top it off. If you pay by charge, they put that info in their computer whether you like it or not. I will never go back-you do not need my in credit card i on file!!! "Its secure". No!.... every website can get hacked!
My advice. Go ANYWHERE else!!

Our family has been coming to Body Secrets for manicures, pedicures, massages, & facials for 20-30+ years because they're the best! As we have moved over the years, we have tried other places, but always come back to Body Secrets, even if we have to drive longer. They are SO clean--and we are very particular about this aspect (especially with me being in healthcare)--so you feel safe and comfortable enough to truly relax! They are truly attentive to your every need--warm neck wraps, something to drink, massage chairs, catering the service to your needs, etc. Their manicures and pedicures are fantastic and truly spa-quality, with quality products, a relaxing atmosphere, attention to every detail, great massages, exfoliation, everything. I recently went there for a mother-daughter spa day with a massage and pedi for me, facial and pedi for my mom. Dawn gave one of the best (probably the best) massage I've ever had. I told her I'm the type that usually has trouble relaxing, and areas of my body tend to get painful and spasm from massage--so she truly made it a relaxing experience, with me feeling so comfortable I wasn't even self conscious (like I usually am), and my painful areas actually felt amazing! She did such an amazing massage!!!! She tied in aromatherapy, hot stones, deep and light massage, in such a skilled, relaxing way! Highly, highly recommend! My mom's skin was glowing after her facial--she looked great and loved it! Our pedicures were amazing too! I appreciated how they made it such a fun spa experience for both of us, with attention to our every need, every detail, and our feet and nails look amazing! I also love this place because everyone here is genuinely really nice..they're truly good people. Talking with them is so enjoyable bc they are such kind, wonderful people, really listening, remembering us, and caring. Also, it's a family business (mother, daughters, etc), which makes it even nicer and is so great to support! I've had many manicures and several waxes there in the past, all of which have been great experiences too! Highly recommend Body Secrets for all your hair, massages, mani/pedi, facial, and waxing needs! If you haven't been to Body Secrets, or haven't been recently, I HIGHLY recommend changing that and going to them!

Always excellent customer service. Very clean! Kind, knowledgeable and wonderful staff. I have had multiple different services and I have always been extremely happy! Love everything about this place! It feels like coming home! Warm and comfortable!

Love having all my spa services here from massages to facials to waxing and medi/pedi. They are very professional, skilled at their work and provide a welcoming environment. I highly recommend this place for all your spa services.

The salon is nice and offers many services, although it is overpriced. My manicure was mediocre because my hands were not moisturized or massaged, and the technician smudged the polish and did not fix it. I think she was in a hurry. I was disappointed in it. The online booking system is complicated and seems outdated.

I've visited Body Secrets twice now for waxing services and I'm pleased with the service and results.

Both times Carly (sp?) was my esthetician. If you've read any of my other reviews, you know that I've been bouncing all over Hartford County trying to find a place to get waxes that doesn't involve psychological trauma. This might be the spot!

Carly's work space is a clean, private room with lovely decor and calming tunes. She is friendly, pleasant and listened to me drone on for 45 minutes about the difficulties of being hairy with a smile. Carly's technique was in keeping with quality hygiene standards: I noticed that she never double dipped -- crucial.

The salon has pretty good hours. Depending on whether you're flexible about the time of day (i.e., available during 9-5) open appointments can be as soon as 24 hours out to as long as a week out. Typically, you call their number, leave a message and someone gets back to you within the day to schedule an appointment.

I had no trouble honoring my Yelp discount gift certificate and getting the first time visitor discount. I plan to keep coming here for my waxing needs as I'm pleased with with the service and the pricing is comparable to that in the area. I recommend it!

Loved my pedicure, I'm definitely going back! And I also think it's so cool they have monthly specials. Really has a spa feel!

I love this place. Its relaxing and all the girls that work there really make you feel comfortable. In the summer I get a cold neck wrap during my pedicure and a warm one in the winter. I've had eyelash extensions here, a Brazilian and mani pedis and all have been great experiences. They use natural nail products and the nail polish line lasts forever.

Since I found this place I will not go anywhere else for my beauty services. From facials and waxes to manicures and pedicures, to massages, and hair treatments, I have tried everything and have loved the results!! The staff is friendly and inviting and the salon is clean and has a comforting atmosphere. They provide you with drinks and snacks if needed and warm or cold neck wraps to make your experience as relaxing as possible. Wonderful place :)

I have been going to this salon since I was 16. I have gotten my nails, toes, hair, makeup, facials, and massages and never had a bad experience. Every time you arrive they offer you something to drink and make you feel at home. They have done my hair and makeup for every single prom and wedding I have attended or been in, including my own. They had mimosas and breakfast waiting for us! We all looked absolutely stunning and had a great time. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better they proved me wrong. My Grammy got sick and can not leave the house, but desperately needed a pedicure. Well those ladies went right to my Grammys house and made her feel amazing. They pampered her and made her feel like a person again. My family and I can not thank you enough. Everyone at Body Secrets is kind, caring and compassionate which is hard to find these days. I will never go to another salon.
