Feels strange to say, but Celia's has the best cheeseburger in the area! Yum!!!
Chicken fajitas are also very good.
Service is nice also.
And the sopapillas are a dessert I never knew I needed in my life.
Love it!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 4874105Mar 22, 20241 check-in
Late lunch with my sis. This place brought back a good memory. I used to eat here for an early dinner with my college bestie before going to the class. It's been awhile since I haven't been here. As soon as you sit down, they brought scrumptious chips & salsa, and ice water.
Today I ordered the lunch special beef burrito and my favorite drink mango margarita. The food was super hot and yummy. The drink was so refreshing. We enjoy our time here. Yhe staff are friendly and attentive. The ambiance is casual. This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I Yelp checked in and got 20% off, it's a sweet deal!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Fe G.Palomar Park, Palomar Park, CA01Apr 16, 2024
I have never complained about any restaurant especially Celia's, I have been coming to this restaurant for years, but I will say something about my flan. A Mexican restaurant who serves flan that looks like a face full of pock marks is not a Mexican restaurant.

Easy to park and this location is easy to find right on El Camino. Had an enjoyable group lunch here and it was easy to do a reservation for a large party. I did feel like this is a good place for groups and I think it would be fun for happy hour as they have a large drink menu. Also their outdoor patio looks nice.
I had the mixed fajitas and it was a good portion of meats and they give you a ton of rice, beans, sour cream, and guac to go with it. The fresh tortillas were nice. It was pleasant but not really exciting considering how many amazing Mexican places there are in this area.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 22, 2023
It's a good place to accommodate for large group gatherings. We ended up going as a graduation lunch, and the servers were real nice. We knew about the place because we had gone to the one in San Rafael. Unfortunately the taste was not all the way there with this one. The Chile rellenos were very soggy. The added chicken had some good flavoring, but the expectation was that it would be inside the chile relleno, instead it was placed underneath it. Beans a rice didn't have any wow factors either.

I have been eating here for years and I have never had a bad meal. I love going there and there are so many delicious options to choose from.
My husband loves the arroz con camarones.
I love the appetizers and the chicken tostada salad.
Also the margaritas are very good too.
We like the comfortable booths and will be
Having dinner there again soon.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Valeria H.Downtown, San Mateo, CA032Mar 24, 2024
Food.. absolutely gross. Tortilla soup w the chicken on top was cold to start with. The chicken had no flavor. I had to ask for hot sauce extra salt and lemon to make it taste good. I ordered arroz con camarones. I legit told the waiter.. shrimp on the side. Rice and veggies together. He brings out a bowl bigger then a soup container w the rice and sauce and everything drenched in a red sauce. The only good thing was the mango margarita. The server.. not sure what his name was. Latino, spoke Spanish. Very rude. I kept telling him shrimp on the side please "no we can't do that you're not understanding it doesn't work like that" what do you mean it doesn't work like that. I paid $26 for a plate that I requested for the shrimp to be on the side with the veggies and rice all on the side and instead it's brought out in a bowl looking like a red salsa soup. He was rude and not friendly. If I had kept the receipt I would include his name but he took it and never brought back a copy. This was just today 3/24/24 at around noon. No wonder the restaurant is always empty. $140 I'm total for food & service that was horrible.

Rodrigo is the best server out of all the different location I've been too his customer service is spectacular. The food was not the best this time around, which we visit this location often. The beans were spoiled why I deducted a star. We also deducted a star because as we were entering one of the waitress clearly saw us behind her as I was pushing my mother in her wheelchair and she did not even open the door she just walked faster with the door almost hitting my mother with our luck she was our waiter which she only came by like 2x Rodrigo who knows we are loyal regular customers made sure to check up on us.
Rodrigo even took initiative to open the door for us as we exited the restaurant.
We always come to this location because of Rodrigo.
If you come here ask for Rodrigo if you want the best experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rachal C.Alpharetta, GA0825Nov 1, 2022
This restaurant was pretty busy at 5:45 on a Tuesday when I was there, but luckily the restaurant has tons of indoor and some outdoor seating so it was pretty quick to get a table. I was immediately brought fresh, hot chips and salsa and treated by my server. The salsa is the perfect mix of spice, not so spicy that I was chugging my water but just enough to warm the tongue.
I ordered two hard shell ground beef tacos with rice and beans. This was honestly such a disappointment. Instead of shredded lettuce on the tacos, it was literally a folded piece of iceberg shoved in the shell. The ground beef lacked flavor, and honestly Taco Bell's tacos are better. The rice and beans had a ridiculous amount of yellow cheese on top which made the beans hard to eat.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1
