BlueFern is great. My partner and I have been coming here for years and every therapist we've worked with has been excellent. They're not just skilled therapists, either -- they're life learners -- constantly looking into improving their own skills, curious about other modalities, and asking for feedback so that they can improve. They work with you respectfully and personally to help heal whatever tensions you bring as you walk through the door.
If you're looking to shed some stress and get a fantastic massage from empathic, professional, and skilled therapists -- go here!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jasmine M.Ann Arbor, MI4243Jul 26, 2018
I currently am struggling with chronic pain in my neck and shoulder and have been to several massage places in the area. BlueFern is by far THE BEST! I've been there twice now for therapeutic massages - from two different massage therapists - and both experiences have been incredible. Both therapists really knew how to help me and what I needed, but more than that, they were so incredibly nice and seemed to really care about me. I am definitely planning to go back. Bonus - it's really easy to book appointments online with them.
Through my struggles with my shoulder pain, I have realized that not all massage places are alike and not all massage therapists necessary know how best to help you. If you're going to spend around $100 on a massage - you want your money's worth and this is the place. Seriously, stop looking. Just go here!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kris W.Cambridge, MA04May 15, 2020
Huge fan of this place! I have had massages with several different therapists and have found them all to be super helpful for aches and pains!

This review is purely for a prenatal massage w/Erika although my husband did get a massage w/the other in-house masseuse and he was very pleased w/the treatment.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked the massage since this is my 1st time being preggo. I knew that I wouldn't be lying face down but that was about it. When I got there, Erika welcomed me warmly and spent some time talking about my pregnancy and where I might be having some trouble spots as far as soreness or muscle aches. She then adjusted the table to make it comfy for me (I ended up on my side) and started to melt away my aches. It was 45 mins of heavenly bliss. I was sold and have booked one every month until my due date! Every time I come in, she checks in w/me to see where she might have to adjust the therapy.
If you can swing it, I highly recommend that a prenatal massage from BlueFern is on your pregnancy regimen.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yumi Y.Cambridge, MA025Oct 8, 2017
This is my go to place for massages. You can schedule online and the location is convenient in the middle of Davis Square. The treatment rooms are very calming and clean. I've been there for regular and prenatal massages and I have found the quality to be good across both services. I've also had some serious knots in my back and they have been really effective at getting them out.
They have expanded over the last few years to include more masseuses which I think increases the options in terms of availability. I've seen a number of different masseuses there and they have all been great so I usually book the date/time that works best for my schedule without having to worry about scheduling with someone specific, which is nice. Book with them soon to check them out for yourself!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ben S.Somerville, MA185Jun 14, 2014
I've been seeing Buki for about 6 months now. She works wonders on my shoulders and back, and is always pleasant and takes the time to check where I feel I need massage work. Blue Fern is conveniently located near the T and the rest of Davis Square, and the office is relaxing and calming. Pricing is pretty good - compared to other places I looked in the area before picking Blue Fern, they offer great (reasonable) rates for massages and I always feel they've earned the fee.
In short, Buki is amazing and you should book with Blue Fern today.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nicole W.Downtown, Boston, MA04Apr 20, 2019
Jennifer is great! I always have a great massage and the knots in my back are taken care of. Comfortable and professional environment!

I had a prenatal massage over the weekend with Jen. She had a calming presence about her and was very attentive to understanding why I was there and what I hoped to get out of my massage. The massage was very relaxing and Jen was very thorough and focused on areas that I had told her were particularly sore.
My only complaint about Blue Fern is that you can hear the traffic in Davis Square through the window which detracted somewhat from the relaxing atmosphere I would definitely come back here for another massage.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Katelyn H.MA, MA62276Aug 30, 2015
I have seen Erika for over two years now and love her. I am amazed how I can tell her what is hurting on my body, and she will work it out that I won't be leaving with the same hurt. I keep a stack of her cards in my room at my work to hand out to my clients if they ever bring up needing a massage. I am always so happy and thankful for her work.

Just had my first visit with Buki. She is amazing. In addition to ridding me of the horrible knots in my upper back and shoulders, she diligently and patiently worked to relax the muscles in my forearms----something I greatly appreciated since they had tightened up from rock climbing and left me with a lingering bout of tendonitis.
By the end of the 90-minute session, my tendonitis was virtually gone and I was able to lace my shoes without pain for the first time in over 2 weeks.
I will be seeing Buki again soon and highly recommend her to anyone seeking relief from pain.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
