My alllltime favorite vegetarian restaurant. You would never know the meals are plant based. I've been here numerous times and will always continue to come back!
Me and my mom split everything we ordered and basically took home enough leftovers for another meal each.
We got the tostones to start which are smashed plantains with an avocado medley. The Cobb salad is one of my favorites that comes with a spinach base topped with fresh avocado, edamame, roasted corn, Maytag blue cheese, plantain chips, grilled onions, toy box tomatoes, and a Visalia vinaigrette. This was my first time tying the Pan Caesar sandwich & it was super filling...I think I only ate about a 1/4 of it. It tasted like a bunch of Brussels sprouts mixed with Caesar and parm cheese.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 13, 2022Updated review
I've been going to this place once or twice a year for years. It's a 37 to 45 minute drive depending on traffic. Traffic is the only thing keeping me from frequenting this establishment. You wanna open one in Germantown my wife and I will keep the place open for you.
"If I knew how to cook like this I'd never have to eat meat again."
Our most recent trip was today. We wanted to beat the valentines rush. We walked in to the perfect soundtrack of light jazz. Everyone seemed happy we came in! Our waitress was all decked out in valentines gear! It was an instantly welcoming environment.
I should mention they are BYOB despite having a bar in the front when you enter.
My wife got this beet ricotta that was amazing. We shared that and goat cheese nachos. We ended up taking half of each of those home. Too much food on top of our meals.
I got the K boy which is like Chinese sauced cauliflower. It was so delicious.
If you have any interest just go to this place. Don't sit here reading reviews about it. You wanna know the ambiance? Go there.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Dec 31, 2020Previous reviewThis is one of those times when 5 stars just isn't enough.
I've been here serval times before COVID hit and was never disappointed. Yesterday was my wife's birthday and Blue Sage was all she wanted! Unfortunately we were too far for delivery. So we ordered and drove an hour due to traffic!
And you know what? I don't regret it!
Both my wife and I got the Robusto. It was excellent! We also got some very good appetizers. They give you so much food that we ate it for dinner last night, lunch and dinner again tonight! That's just two appetizers and two meals.
Also their staff is so nice and sincerely thankful to customers. I love genuine interactions and I hope they know the work they do is appreciated!
Remember Yelp community. Tip well. Even if they are just putting shit in a bag and bringing it to your car. They put themselves in danger daily so we can be too lazy to cook. - Oct 18, 2021
Everything was absolutely excellent. Enjoy the atmosphere and our waiter. He was very pleasant and very honest with his recommendations. We started off with the tostones.... So so good. They weren't overly sweet. Which was good because you were topping it with the avocado corn salsa.
We both have one of the specials. I had the grits. It was diced butternut squash, brussel sprouts, some other vegetables over grits with some cheese. Such a big portion. And absolutely delicious. Took half home. Was even better when warmed up the next day. My boyfriend had the carnivale, which had a lot of vegetables as well. I know he got it because it had beets in it. He said the beets were fresh. He took half of his home as well as it was also a big portion. We definitely though left room for dessert. We had the vegan ice cream with the hazelnut crisp. It was very rich. Just a couple spoonfuls for each of us and we were content. Definitely want to come back and try other things here.
The place is BYOB just FYI.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Besty G.Northeast Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA1231917Jan 22, 2023Updated review

Ashamed to say, I've lived in the area for like 13 years and never got to try this place till now. Well it was definitely worth the wait! Went with some friends, and ordered way too much of the menu but the leftovers were great the next day! It's a fusion-y menu of middle eastern and Mexican and somehow it all works. Lol. We went from cauliflower Kpop tacos to vegetarian nachos to falafel and burrito of some sort. All the food sizes were HUGE, hence the many leftovers but no one is complaining, prices were more than fair and most importantly everything tasted amazing! Service was great. Restaurant was large, seating was easy to get on a Saturday night (no reservations being taken) and it's a BYOB! We ate healthy enough to drink more wine lol!

Was one of my favorite restaurants. Any information on why it closed and if it will be reopening anywhere? Absolutely outstanding food.

This carnivore walked out of Blue Sage a happy girl last night.
Let's start with the perfectly salted and fried tostones with guacamole. Then let's add some blue corn nachos. Hello I was almost full after just those.
.
But then let's add tacos with sweet potatoes or spiced cauliflower. Then someone ordered a sandwich with root vegetable chips. I love root veggie chips.
There were six of us and we ate family style.
It was absolutely delicious. And our server was awesome too!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Shail P.Harrisburg, PA6882Feb 27, 2023
Amazing food. The ambiance was a bit dark but the quality of the food makes it worthwhile.

Best vegetarian spot I've been to. I like Vedge and V street and but food wise this place has been outstanding and consistent for years (even before the move). Family and kids love this food and We are not vegetarians either.
My go tos are usually the falafel wrap (not the lunch version) and korean cauliflower tacos or kpop chicken and waffles. The fried arancini balls are great and really all the tacos are great.
Nachos are a huge hit at the house.
Portion wise these guys are huge. We always have left overs.
Its a nice ambiance inside but we are usually take out people. I believe they started an outside dining due to restrictions but cant comment on it.
Its a seasonal menu on some dishes. But again i iterate best vegetarian I've had in PA.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Elisabetta D.HOWARD BEACH, NY9624886Jan 14, 2022
When a person is trying to stick to Daniels Fast as much as humanly possible, and yet still be able to eat out then this is a place to go! Honestly, the service was superb. I love the atmosphere as well as it feels like such a delightful surprise when you walk inside from outside. You don't necessarily expect the high ceilings and this Center City / urban vibe from the exterior of the building. The food was exceptional. All the items I took a photo of were great. I wasn't a crazy fan of the cashew-nut pine queso; however, I felt that it was too much on the sweet side for it to be a "cheese" type of dip. The k-pop tacos were probably my favorite out of all of them.
