Is there parki g?

There's valet parking for one hour if you're not staying at the hotel. Street parking and parking lots have meters.

Lovely setting, great breakfast!
Fresh orange juice was amazing, and I've been dreaming of the potatoes ever since! However the restaurant doesnt allow for any substitutions, and the menu was a little misleading with what they offered.
If you arent staying at a B&B, this place is wonderful for breakfast, especially on a rainy day by the fire place!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Abby W.Middletown, NJ06412Apr 6, 2024
Beautiful place. Such slow, slow service. Inefficient seating even with a reservation. Food was hit or miss, crab cakes in Cape May should be way better than this, mentioned to the server and was met by a blank stare and an offer to bring another one (?)
So many options for dining in Cape May. Congress Hall has cocktails down - not so much the food. I hope they can shape this up before the season really kicks in. Prices are high but not really relative to others in the area so not a factor in this review. Need better service and consistent quality and maybe we can add a star.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 10, 2023
We went here this past weekend (Saturday after Labor Day) for lunch. Food was great, but service could have been better. I noticed all other tables were having their water glasses refilled, but it took us until the end of the meal for our waitress to check up on us so we could ask for more water.
We ordered the chicken BLT and the tavern cheeseburger. My husband and I LOVED our dishes. The bread for the chicken BLT sandwich is so good, in addition to the herbal mayo. Would definitely come again, but hope service would be better next time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 723134235Sep 4, 2023
It being our first time in Cape May, it was recommended by a family member to try The Blue Pig Tavern. We stopped by for breakfast, and had an amazing meal. We had the Avocado Toast, Buttermilk Pancakes, a side of Hash Browns, Eggs Blackstone, and Healthy Start. Everything was freshly made.
The restaurant is located in a historic house that was well-preserved, spacious, well-lit, and clean. The staff was also friendly and accommodating.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 26, 2023Updated review
So for me the rating has gone down a little.
Service was good
The A/C was good on a hot day.
The clam chowder was good. Better than some of the seafood restaurants around here
I had the pulled pork sandwich and thought it was bland and tasteless. A total miss for me.
The fish and chips were good
And the tavern burger was nicely done.
The chicken ranch sandwich was also good
Like I said. I had a bad dish in my opinion but the rest was notHelpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 3, 2018Previous reviewThis is the staple for a restaurant in Cape May.
We had really nice service and that is a great way to start a meal. I wish I could name our server because he was great.
We started with the clam chowder. Very nice pretty robust thick offering. Wish it had a few more potatoes but it had plenty of clam.
The kids had burgers which they thought were done well.
I had the steak and cake. Jersey style surf and turf.
It had mashed potatoes and a veggie medley.
The crab cake was underwhelming. It seemed purchased not house made. It was not a lump crab cake but breaded all around.
Now the steak was excellent a nice strip steak cooked perfectly. Not much more to say there.

i couldn't wait to get here! although our stay was cut very short since they had someone in a pig costume come out to take photos which scared our daughter hysterical, what we did enjoy was good.
the service is good and accommodating especially since we planned on staying for the day so we had a large wagon they had no issues with us parking it along side the wall outside which sounds trivial but as people with kids, we always try hard to not inconvenience already busy places. menu has a great selection! drink menu also looks great but it was early so a mimosa was all i ordered, this time!!
they did give us a free stuffed animal for my daughter since they felt bad they ruined our time unintentionally, but i wished they would have comped the meal since we didn't even have a chance to eat it.
we'll be back likely!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mary T.Chalfont, PA0254Mar 17, 2024
Just had another great meal here with our favorite waitress Lilia. Soups, sandwiches, coffee all good the fact that u can valet park at the hotel entrance is definitely a plus. Decor is perfect for the time period. Not priced any higher than anywhere else.

Came here for lunch with my family recently and had an OK experience. We were seated immediately, which is always appreciated, and the dining room was pretty nice. Definitely fancier than I expected, but they didn't complain about our swim wear, so that was nice of them :)
My main issue with our lunch was that the service was incredibly slow. There weren't many people eating there but it still took an insanely long time to get our food, and the server seemed quite absent throughout. I ordered the blue crab sandwich and it was very tasty, so I can't complain about the food. If we were in a more relaxed mood (we had a toddler with us), I could have maybe handled the long wait better, so we'll definitely keep that in mind for our next visit if we come back :)
Overall, good food and not-so-good service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 11, 2023
The service was excellent. Our waiter was busy with two larger parties that included drunk parents and unattended children, and he was still able to keep our waters filled and laugh at one of my dad jokes. We started with the lobster salad which was very fresh and the dressing paired perfectly and did not take away from the sweetest of the meat. The crab cakes were much more crab than filler and I felt that they had a very balanced spice blend. I personally would not have thought to order the pot pie, but it was a cold and windy day and it ended up being a great surprise. It was filled with delicious veggies and the spring onions really made the whole dish for me. I also have to short out to whoever pulled the chicken because there was not one unpleasant piece (I have a weird gristle thing). Overall I think that the price matched the food and the service. We would dine again.
