Blue Lemon Highland

After visiting the downtown SLC location, I knew I had to make the trek to visit this Blue Lemon. The restaurant offers great lunch options when fast food just won't do. They have a nice selection of salads and flat breads. If you're on the hungrier side, you can choose from several hearty entrees. They have a diverse menu - everything from short ribs to fish tacos. I've mainly stuck with salads and sampled others' flatbreads, sweet potato fries, etc. I've enjoyed everything that I tried.

They also have a coffee bar where you can order custom drinks along with the standards. If you're feeling indulgent, the dessert case is well-stocked with many temptations. I spotted a fruit tart that almost made me forget about my goals. I didn't indulge but I plan to visit again during this trip so, you never know.

Service was friendly. Unlike the downtown location, it was pretty easy to secure a table during the busy lunch rush.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The sweet and spicy potstickers were through-the-ceiling yummy and actually outshone the hamburger I ordered. They were made with precision and the innards were hot and evenly cooked. Plating was appealing and there was plenty of garnish to bolster the potstickers.

Service was friendly and prompt -- at twenty minutes until close, this was a nice surprise.

We gathered here due to its close proximity to Timpanogas Park. Having only had a banana for breakfast, I was hungry when we arrived at 11 a.m. on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty but the friendly staff were ready to serve us. We had a group of 8 and were pleased with the multiple seating options for a group our size.

I ordered the shrimp tacos. They were delicious. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. My wife enjoyed the pear beet salad and sweet potato fries.

The meals were delivered quickly and the ambiance was delightful, allowing our group to freely converse with one another. All in all, this was a delightful dining experience ahead of our intense Timpanogas hike.

This used to be a favorite.

They have increased prices while reducing quality.

It's a bummer since people love eating out in this town.

There are too many better places to consider.

I adore Blue Lemon - it's such a treat! When we drove by it the other day I couldn't pass it up!!

I love that there are lots of healthy options for the whole family. My husband loves all the veggies, my girls love the apples and "dip-dip," and I love the desserts.

The pasta dishes are my go-to for meals, but I am never disappointed with anything I've ever ordered. The menu is unique and fun and super tasty. Again, I love the fettuccine and black bean ravioli, but everything is amazingly delicious!!

Blue Lemon is a place where everything is upscale and delicious, but all you have to do is order at the counter?

We were amazed at the variety! We tried so many amazing dishes. First off, we started with the Sticky Chicken Potstickers- these are a must try and don't skip the salad they are nestled on! The French Onion soup was warm and cozy, plus we loved the gooey cheese. Our entrees were the Top Sirloin Steak which, as you can see, was a work of art! So tender and yummy. The Pear and Gorgonzola salad was a perfect pairing of sweet and savory, and the Tri Tip Sandwich was chock full of succulent tri-tip. Be sure to get the sweet potato fries, some of the best we have had!

Needless to say, we were very impressed with Blue Lemon and we need to try the whole menu!

Great healthy and Well prepared food. They set a clean comfortable environment for casual dining. This is my go to place in the area.

Food quality was not what it used to be. The artichoke chicken was rubbery. When I took it back they didn't even try to make it right, no did I get my refund back. Service overall was so poor that I wanted to ask for my 18% tip back.

Blue Lemon is delicious and perfect for a healthier meal choice! Appetizers and meals are delicious! They also have some of the best sweet potato fries! I usually have gotten it to go but it is a fun place to eat at too.

I have enjoyed blue lemon for a number of years but the attention to quality has decreased and the end result has become a crap shoot.

Tonight I ordered three items for pickup: 1) pear and Gorgonzola salad with tri-tip, 2) Asian sesame salad (no add-ons), 3) sweet potato fries. I added a 15% tip

My Asian sesame salad had a chicken add-in and instead of sweet potato fries, I ended up with regular fries. Simple 3 item order and 66% of the order was wrong.

I tried to call to discuss the errors, but no one would pick up the phone. Generally, the meal was good, but 2 out of a 3 items order were incorrect.

If you order here, check your order before you leave the store and reconsider tipping since you have to add the tip before you get your order.

One of the only restaurants on the border of Alpine and Highland, so we thank you for that fact alone. The food is amazing. From Iron Seared Salmon to Steak Tacos, to the mouth watering BLT - I can't say I've had a dish that I didn't like. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is our location is often out of dishes. One night we were told five different items we wanted were not available. Will adjust to 5 stars if we can get through a visit, or two and get what we want to order.
