Blue Hawaii Tattoo Maui

First and foremost, I'm sad for all these wonderful shops in Lahaina and families. This was where my daughter and I got our tattoos on vacation in 2018. Dave is great, and I hope he has another one built here in the future.

I made a spontaneous decision to get a tattoo but honestly had no idea what I wanted. Plus I had a pretty strict budget (I know, the BEST kind of customer, right?)

I came up with a concept which I brought to the shop, but Sean explained how it wouldn't be possible with the size, budget, and idea that I wanted. Instead he asked me what I'm into and tried to get a better sense of who I am as a person. He showed me some of his art and helped talk me through what would and wouldn't work.

He sketched up a couple options, I picked my favorite, then we got to work. 45 minutes later, I was out of there with some dope new ink.

Professionalism, kindness, customer service, and a chill environment made this experience an A++. I was honestly having a pretty shit trip but this absolutely turns everything around. As long as you communicate what you're looking for and what you're looking to spend, there are no surprises here.

Next time I'm in Maui, best believe I'm making a beeline to this shop.

Really cool little tattoo shop in historic Lahaina!! We contacted them a few months out about tattooing my husband and I, they were responsive and helpful, paid our deposit and scheduled everything, gave me a text line to send my reference pictures to, also. I appreciate them calling us and texting us to confirm our appointment a day out, we had Alex as our artist and he was awesome!! Molly at the front was so helpful and all the artists were very nice, cool place, thanks you!!

My husband and I were walk ins and got right in. They moved their artist's availability based on speciality which was really cool. They took our ideas and crated original pieces of art for us. We ended up getting 3 tattoos. Our artists were detailed yet efficient. We will definitely be back next time we're in Maui.

I just got my second tattoo I've been waiting 8 years to get and we decided spur of the moment to check out Blue Hawaii tattoo to see if it was what we wanted. We got our designs looked at and not long later we had a few options of size and design and picked ones that looked right. Once we got started Sean got us both taken care of with some clean line work and great shading. I would definitely take the opportunity to come back and get another tattoo from this shop.

I had a choice of several tattoo parlors but decided to call Blue Hawaii. Talking with Jimmy on the phone he got me an appointment that very morning. Jimmy was fantastic!! Very polite and professional on the phone, and greeted me warmly when I arrived.

Tommy is a great artist, very personable, and again was a real professional. I'm so happy with the end products. Got two tattoos and he made the process seamless. Easily the best experience I've had in a parlor ever!! Next time on Maui I'll be back to see this group and get some more art. Biggest compliment I can give is they made me feel like ohana!!!

BTW - this place is CLEAN!!! Beautiful shop and very well maintained!

Came to Maui for a family vacation and we decided to get a family tatoo as part of our memory for being together in Maui as a family. Tommy and JJ both were super awesome and patient with us since there are 6 of us getting tatoo and it was getting late. Thanks Tommy and JJ for giving us a memorable ink that will be with us forever.

I have to say this was a great experience and I plan on returning to have more work done. Sean greeted me and inquired about what I wanted to get tattooed. I told Sean exactly what I wanted with color ideas. Sean gave me ideas if I wanted to close or add on in the future. Sean overall did an amazing job, great to chat with while having the work done. I would recommend Sean and this shop 10/10.

Came to Maui with my family and my sons first time here as well (3 months old) wanted to get his name and thought it would be perfect to remember the trip by getting his name here in Maui!

Called before we got here, booked my consult & appointment two different days cause David said he wanted to consult and then do the tattoo the next day .

First originally scheduled with David. Get to the shop the day of my consult and legit was in there for 2 minutes told this other tattoo artist (Johnny) what I wanted and then they told me I would be with him.. get to the shop the next day to get my tattoo, front desk told me Johnny left, and that Tommy would be doing my tattoo. Truth be told, I wanted Tommy to do my tattoo but was too scared to say I had a preference who I wanted.

Tommy did an AMAZING job on my son's name, the line work is perfect, it's exactly what I wanted! Im so thankful it worked out so that Tommy would be doing my tattoo! I looked on his instagram and regretted not saying I wanted him but it worked out that I did get him to do my tattoo!

I felt weird that they kept passing me around to other artists but it probably was my fault that I didn't say which artist I wanted. But from now on if I get another tattoo from there I'm definitely saying TOMMY, and making sure he is the only one doing my tattoo.

David seemed like a great guy, super funny. & the front desk girl was awesome. Overall had a great experience, and so glad in the end I got the artist I really wanted.
