Took a few classes while in town for a week, and loved everything about Blissworks from the first phone call to the availability of loaner mats. The decor is lovely and the space inviting and conducive to relaxing into your practice. But the people put it over the top.
Everyone was warm and kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I took classes with different vibes, and all the instructors, those leading the classes and others I met in the studio, were grounded and led from a place of calm and centeredness that's maybe awkward to articulate but you know it when you feel it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessica P.New London, CT66310217May 26, 2010First to Review
Practice types: Anusara-Inspiredâ„¢, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, yoga basics ... and a children's yoga class.
They also do workshops and healing arts (ie massages... amazing massages!)
If you're new to yoga or are just looking to try out a new studio definitely swing in!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erica T.Old Lyme, CT8281355Jun 12, 2018
Blisswork's lofty space was, for Michele, the most aesthetically pleasing and Ashtanga devotees (considered the most physical and traditional) will love Kim Abraham's class. Blissworks offers partner workshops, healing arts and it's one of the only studios on the Shoreline that offers a kids yoga workshop.

Trisha made me- a newcomer- welcome while I was in the New London area and decided to pop in for some yoga. Her moves helped me release a lot of tightness in the hips and back. Beautiful facility on the upper level of an old building right in the center of New London. She provides all the equipment: mats, blocks, blankets, and belts. The studio has wood floors and tall windows, but is rather small so get there early to get a spot. If Blissworks gets much more popular, she will run out of room.
$15 per class is a good price!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Erin C.Hamden, CT1522118Dec 29, 2016
Blissful indeed! This space is warm and inviting to all yogis. Tricia's bliss yoga on Saturday morning is truly a beautiful way to welcome the weekend.

Kim's ashtanga classes are awesome. Great instruction, peaceful studio, and only 11 bucks for students.
