We decided to have dinner here after our travel day and camper set up. They have two choices on the menu one German style meat/dish and baked chicken. The meal comes with potatoe pancakes a German sausage, red cabbage, & desert. We had the pork loin roast and it was terrific. The meat was so tender you had to scoop it with the fork.

We come here each year when we visit family in the area and it is one of the highlights of our trip! Authentic German food prepared by a legendary sausage conisseur is delicious, especially the saurbraten. Everything comes with potato pancakes, cabbage, homebaked bread, and dessert. Such a rare find on the Oregon coast, a real jewel.

There is a hidden jewel of a German restaurant on the premises, where the German owner, a legendary sausage maker, prepares specialties like sauerbraten and potato pancakes. This is truly a hidden jewel on the Oregon coast.
Aug 8, 2014Previous reviewA sometimes overlooked (as it sits in the campground of the same name) authentic German restaurant on the Oregon Coast between Gold Beach and Port Orford. The owner Gary is a legendary German sausage maker, who with his wife runs a spectacular family restaurant with live entertainment. Each night is a fixed menu with two options, featuring sauerbraten, bacon-wrapped filet, and homemade sides like potato pancakes. Every year when I come to the Oregon Coast to visit family this is the culinary highlight of our trip!

Was lucky enough to buy a bunch of meats right before they closed. So sad :( we still have a few sausages left but it feels like the end of an era. We wish you the best retirement. danke schoen!

Great food, ribs are to die for and burgers with parmesean garlic fries are excellent. Great campground facility for RV. Well worth drive from Gold Beach. Arch Rock beer on tap.

What a refreshing place ! German music, beer, atmosphere, even a real German entertainer in Gerhard. After eating here, we decided we had to stay at the campground for a couple days. Both places are awesome, the people will go out of their way for you. Will be making plans to come back next year.

Made a last minute reservation and Glen was so accommodating. He takes you around the beautiful park so he can show you what sites he has available. Nestled in the woods but can walk to the beach on their deeded path. Staying for a month but can't wait to come back.

We had so much fun. Food was great and owners so fun and welcoming. Reminded me of camp ground restaurants in Germany.

Our first time staying here at the Honey Bear Rv Park. This restaurant is on the property so we had dinner here last night. It was absolutely delicious. Authentic german food. The owners are very nice people and make your stay/dinner exceptional. Highly recommend the RV park and restaurant.
