Bishop's Eastside Pub & Grill

Been to Bishop's food is pretty good, I've had burgers and ribs there and both do not disappoint. They have events/parties now and then, recently a "Gatby" night. I've been to the Christmas party, it was well done. Not sure how the Gatsby party went, I was day drinking that day and didn't make it. There are a lot of big screen tvs around the place, some kind of music jukebox things, karaoke, pool etc. My only complaint, and I know it's a bar...but the smoking. I enjoy a cigar, so being able to enjoy one while there is great, but cigarettes stink IMO. I don't care to smell like it.

I will go back and do recommend Bishop's, only been to there Winchester location.

No one greeted us and it was disgusting inside. In the bathrooms there wasn't any paper towels or soap.

Imagine this...you are suffering from a lob day. The grind has got you anxious and a little bit angry, but you just want to move per it. You are driving home and you decide I will go I to this pub and get a little something to help me through. You come through the door and the staff comes to you saying, "hey baby how can I help you". It is the sound that you didn't know you needed but you accept this with an open heart. You set in a place where it feels like the home you are going to...but not just yet. You pay and leave feeling like you can take on the world, just from the smile and friendly help. I love this place...

First off, this is a bar and I knew that going into it. But, I had wanted to try it based off comments that I had read online.

My initial take was that it was a little rough for the lunch hour. There was guy at the bar who was drunk and belligerent and it was before 1pm and they kept serving him.

The bartender who was also waiting tables was openly smoking in the bar prep area. I'm old enough to remember when this was common but these days you have to question sanitary practices differently.

I got the smothered chicken and it was really good. However, service lacked. My drink stayed I filled most of the time. Perhaps because it wasn't alcoholic. The smell of smoke was overwhelming and reminded me of burning mattress.

Will I be a return customer? Probably not. It's just not my cup of tea.

Been coming to this pub for over five years. Food is always been good for pub food. Within the last two months that has drastically changed. The last two times I've been in there food has been cold rubbery and over price for what you receive. Ordered potato skins they came out Burt and nasty to the point where I had to send them back. The mushroom and Swiss burgers bun was charged to the point where all I got was a burnt taste. The mixed vegetables on the side look like they were cooked yesterday and amounted to a quarter cup. All in all without drinks were talking to a $24 meal. I will not be eating from here again

Great bar, a little more on the dive side but not too much. Smoking is allowed. Wings are phenomenal! Service is like any other place but to the most part they are nice.

I have never been inside, but my husband has picked up food from there. Very tasty. If smoking wasn't allowed inside I would probably go in for a couple drinks.

I enjoy this bar because of how laid back it is. It is the perfect neighborhood hang spot to meet up with friends and eat some good bar food. The people are kind and the beer is cold! What more could you ask for? It is a smoking bar, so just know that going in but there are a variety of seating options as well as great open areas for dancing or moving about.

my new favorite place to go! I'm so happy I found Bishop's!

This is the only place we go for ribs. ....perfectly cooked, juicy, fall of the bone tender. ...great bar staff too. ....I'm not much into the bar scene but the ribs bring me back every time. Having a drink while I wait is part of its charm. It's a great little homey pub with awesome food
