Flat out...this is a top notch flight training facility. From the moment I contacted trainer Woody Sellers, the experience has been fantastic.

Located on the north side of the airport, the hanger is easy to get to. The lobby, study rooms, and hanger are clean and inviting. As you head down the main hallway, you can see most of their immaculate aircraft parked out of the windows below you. Before walking down the stairs to the hanger floor, you are greeted by their state of the art simulator. Not only is it cool, it will save you money on your quest for certification.

If you're in Alabama and wanting to learn how to fly, this is your place. Not ready to commit? Just go by for an introductory flight. I promise, you won't regret it.

Tried to show up twice a year ago around 10 am and 2 pm. No one was there but the lights were on and door was locked. Left my name and number on the door and no one ever called back. Called again random times this year and left messages but still never got a call back. Save yourself the hassle and fly at Shelby County. Over the mountain aviation is WONDERFUL.
