Big Rock Mini Golf & Fun Park

Took my grandson and great nephew here. What a great time. So many fun options and friendly staff.

We booked a birthday party through their online booking site for June 25th. It was a terrible experience and we HIGHLY DISCOURAGE OTHERS in doing the same. Following a family trip to this facility our young son wanted to have his 9th birthday party there.
I went online and looked at the information for packages. Initially we were going to choose a weekend party. After being unsure if he would have a baseball tournament that weekend, we chose to look at a weekday package. Online I was pleased to see that the weekday package was cheaper than the weekend rate. Also, when we put in for a weekend party the website stated that each additional participant over 10 would cost extra. The Weekday package did not state these same requirements. I assumed this was an incentive to get more parties and business through the week. When asked how many guests on the biggest Ultimate Party Package, it simply stated for up to 20 kids. I picked an available time and day and when prompted to put number of guests, we put 20. The total came up for the package without additional fees (unlike the total that changes when 20 was put into the weekend package). I added additional food and was emailed a receipt that stated the price for up to 20 kids and clearly stated 20 guests.
I paid the amount online and began planning our guest list. I called the facility with no answer of the phone on the booking day to make sure they had us down. On the day of the party I again called and left a voicemail so that I could make sure our party was expected and also to add additional pizzas. No call back again. We showed up thirty minutes early so that we could make sure they were aware of the additional food request. We were told that we were not allowed in the party room until the 5:30 time slot we had chosen. Okay, that's fine, but we entered at the same time as our guests and had some of the parents helping me add some additional decor that we had brought and carry in the cake, etc. Food was not ready and our guests were running around for the room for thirty minutes before the first pizza was even brought out. Everything was very chaotic and unprepared.

Now the WORST part of the experience was that the hostess let me know since there were more than 10 participants,we would have to pay more for each additional guests. I showed her the receipt that I was emailed and showed that it stated 20 guests and what we were charged. She mentioned that there was a mess up with their computer charging and that the managers tried to adjust the situation but could not come up with an agreement with the owner and that we would be charged regardless. We went to the manager to try to give them an opportunity to make the situation right, to be treated with no regard and a blank face. We were told we didn't understand the information correctly from the website and that they had already contacted the website company to make those corrections. THAT IS NOT OUR FAULT. We had already paid 410 dollars and would end up being charged an additional 260 dollars for the additional participants and the extra pizzas (which I was fully prepared to pay extra for the food). I walked the manager through the process that I took to book the party and showed how I simply used the "book party room" button and followed the prompts to the book now and the agreed charges.
He had no other information to give and when asked who the owner was, we were given no information. If the booking has been made clear than we would have chosen a different route, not wanting to spend 700 dollars for a 9 year old birthday party. No attempt was made to meet us halfway for their computer mess up. The website was updated and corrected today (day after our party) so that it would show the additional charges moving forward for others booking a party. Those changes would have not been made with their website had we not made this an issue. Those changes also indicate that the issue was the facilities mistake and not ours. We were definitely taken advantage of in this situation and how they handled it is fraudulent and misleading. It was embarrassing in front of our guests and took the joy out of spending this birthday watching our son enjoy his occasion.
I have been planning birthday parties for years since I also have a nineteen and seventeen year old child and have NEVER had such an awful experience. I have never left a bad review on any business until this one. We will not use this business ever again and will encourage our friends to do the same. A very unfortunate situation.

If I could leave 0 starts I would. This was our first and last time visiting. After waiting in line over an hour with my 8 & 5 year old daughters they skipped over us TWICE before informing us we were in "the wrong line" and told us to go to the back in wait in line AGAIN. DISGUSTING customer service. Even the people around me said it was WRONG

We also say multiple fights break out with drunk people. It is not a family friendly place.

We will NEVER go back!!! I wouldn't even bring my dog here. They treated me and my young daughters like trash, it was a horrible experience. My 5 year old daughter cried her eyes out. All around the most frustrating experience I've ever had at an establishment that is supposed to be "fun".

This place is the opposite of Chick-Fil-A when it comes to customer service.

It said it was open until 10, but they stopped helping people at 9:20. We got inside just to be ignored by ALL employees there. We had to ask an employee to help us and you could tell, that she was not happy to help us. Terrible experience and not at all impressed.

Had fun until I noticed the ticket counter Shundrea try and cheat us out of our tickets multiple times.. We had a card with like 3,000 tickets on it, got one thing under 2,000 and we asked her for the card back she like pulled it from a card pile behind the counter. We had given the card to a friend so they can use it but it was "empty" when she went to use it.... she also did something similar to another friend later in the night. So don't hand the ticket taker your cards she'll take them :/

This is place is horrible. I don't know who the owner is but they are going to loose this place quick. The workers are horrible. The batting cages were jacked up and when we went in to tell someone the guy walked like a snail to go out there to fix it and we had to wait like 20 mins. Then we went in to do the aerial they acted like they hated to have to get up and wait on us. Will it go back!! I will tell everyone

Earlier today, I received a message from the owner of this establishment. She had considered my posts and reviews, even seeking advise from a friend who is in charge of a church security team, and now understands that the anti-gun policy only keeps law-abiding individuals from carrying a firearm into the facility, leaving themselves and others defenseless against those who might wish to bring evil against them. The sign has been removed and the policy changed. I have a great deal of respect for the owner's handling of this matter. With this matter resolved, only positive things remain for me to say about this place. I will be changing my reviews and recommendations, as we otherwise had a great time. They have a very nice place, with friendly staff, and lots of fun things to do. I can now comfortably highly recommend this place for anyone looking for family-friendly fun.

To Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park: I will respect your wishes, regarding your anti-gun policy, by not returning to your establishment. Your decision to implement liberal, anti-gun policy has costed you my business.

Second amendment supporters beware: Big Rock Mini Golf and Fun Park is NOT 2A FRIENDLY. I suggest that you not spend your money at this establishment.

Big Rock Fun Park is ok. Nothing to spectacular that really blew me away. They have a nice min golf course. Was there for a bday party and the property isn't too bad. Video games arcade, bumper boats, go karts, mini golf & batting cages are the highlights.
There the usual fast food items. Pizza, nachos, hot dogs etc. Great for families w/kids.

This is the place to go!! I went with my nephew for the first time the other day and WOW!!! The batting cages were great, but the miniature golf course is amazing. There are two 18 hole setups that are pretty well kept and are really fun.

This is tons more fun than Playtime Pizza or Chuck E. Cheese. They also have go carts which we didn't have a chance to try. The game rooms isn't as big as the other places, but there is a big enough selection to keep the kids happy.

I must admit, I had a lot of fun and not just because I won at mini golf.

One of Central Arkansas' best places for families and others to spend their time for outdoor and indoor fun filled entertainment. Conveniently located near two major interstates makes it easy to find. When there, their snack options are a great way to get a quick bite and drink while enjoying go karts, batting cages, ropes course, mazes, mini golf, and arcade.
