So disappointed! Most of the bag contained the tiniest crawfish we've ever seen! They were barely rinsed, needed to be purged. Several were already dead before cooked. Paid for 4 corn, got 2. And it may just be a coincidence, but when we opened the bag, there were 4 of the biggest nicest bugs..in the picture, the purple box shows just the heads & claws alone of the 4 that were on top. But under those 4, were 3.5 lbs of some ridiculously small crawfish. The yellow box contains 8 WHOLE bugs from the rest of the bag. And $7.99 a lb not including corn, potatoes, etc, is very high. Only positive thing was a buy 3 get 1 free deal.

Season is way too short to waste money on subpar crawfish.

Some already dead (straight tail)..barely looked washed down, much less being purged.
Purple - heads & claws from 4 top of bag.. Yellow - 8 WHOLE bugs from rest of bag

This place has the biggest, tastiest crawfish anywhere around Kingwood-Humble. I've never had any type of sauce with my crawfish - the Wow Wee dipping sauce here is SO good - on crawfish AND the potatoes.
Sadly, I do prefer my crawfish purged before I eat them. at 7.00 per pound, I really don't want bite after bite of sand. . The ONLY reason I don't give this place 5 stars!

I believe this is called Bayou City crawfish now...
      Size: not bad
BUT it goes downhill from there
Most were mashed, or seemed to be dead when cooked.
Taste: absolutely nasty - all of it, mushrooms, sausage, and bugs
I mean bad, and I am pretty sure thats what kept me up all night with stomach cramps.
If this place had any serious competition around they would be out of business.
      Staff and service weren't bad.
      I will NEVER go back.

The crawfish and shrimp were both good sizes with great flavor. We also had corn and potatoes. The guy checking us out recommended adding some mushrooms, which were the only disappointing part of the meal. The mushrooms were too hot to be enjoyable. The level of spice on everything else was great, but I'll definitely skip the mushrooms next time.

I thought this place was pretty good. Some days crawfish are better than others, and today, they were better. There was enough heat, and the heads were very juicy! Don't even bother with the sauces, although I do like they have a great selection of them :) the fact that they had mushrooms and a whole link sausage was a huge plus!! The live music was fairly entertaining. I think they're trying to recreate Louisiana because they sure we're playing a lot of Zydeco music!!

Agree with Jessica. Entirely too salty and sucking the heads on these was rather gross. It was like chugging spillway water. Not only that, they nickel and dime you on everything. Corn, potatoes, sauce were all extra and we ended up averaging $8/lb. In retrospect, we should've left and gone elsewhere.

The corn and potato had zero flavor whatsoever. Just boiled in plain water with no spice at all.

I guess if you enjoy boiled vegetables and salty mudbugs, this is your place.

I do like the tent setup.they have outside. It would be perfect for group lunches, but I don't want to take my coworkers here until the quality increases and the price decreases.

I was very excited to finally eat at this spot . I heard they served huge crawfish and was super hungry. I usually get just a pound of crawfish just so I'm not stuck eating some nasty food . Long story short, I was given 13 crawfish with only 5 being decent size. I went up to ask if the weight included the corn and potato. But he assured me it didn't. (Did nothing to fix the problem)
Was overcooked . And they didn't have much flavor. Like the other posts', the heads where very dry.
I did like that they had a nice place to eat. With many benches. Nice misters around the eating area. Also had a convenient washing station in the center of it all.
I hate critiquing places like this but unfortunately I did not have a pleasant time. Idk maybe they just had a bad day.

I'm sure the food was good, the police officer wouldn't let us go in, when there was parking spaces. You just lost business.

Edible. The dipping sauce was good, but the crawfish were not. Don't even bother sucking the heads all you get is salt. They were decent last year, so maybe they are just working out the kinks, but they were not good today. Crawfish were semi dry, sticking to the shells and salty.
