Big Family Movers is excellent in every way. I've used BFM for three major moves and they always exceed my expectations. Owner, Noah, is quick to respond and is very flexible on the date and works to accommodate what you need. He'll give a free quote that is right in line with the final price given the time it takes for your move. I just moved and the team included Victor, Anthony and Matthew. All three were super courteous and kind. They went shove and beyond to make the move a smooth one and took so much care in getting things prepared and on the truck. At the new place, they re-assembled my beds and got all boxes into the right rooms. They really care about their work and are very kind and friendly. They make moving day infinitely less stressful.

Noah and his team are the best! I hired them for a short move in the bay and was extremely happy with their service. Noah was clear about the costs and stuck to the budget. His team handled my furniture and items with care and everything arrived as it should. It was a seamless process from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone.

I just moved from Walnut Creek to El Cerrito. I was pretty stressed out about the whole process-- packing, finding a moving company, etc. My chiropractor recommended Big Family Movers to me so I called to get some information. Noah asked me a few questions about the stuff I needed to be moved, and I added in the complication of going to a second location after mine, to pick up my boyfriend's stuff. He gave me an estimate and we hung up the phone. I did call a couple other places to inquire for estimates and decided to go with Big Family because Noah sounded super confident in his team.

And he had good reason to be confident, because these guys were fantastic! The crew consisted of Victor, Anthony and Matthew. They were all super nice and super respectful of our stuff -- and bonus...they were cracking me up with their banter and it really took the stress out of the whole situation. They cleared out my condo in about an hour, then headed to my BF's and got his stuff in less than half an hour, then came to my new place and unloaded everything in about 30-45 minutes. They were super professional the whole time, had a great attitude, and worked really hard. Apparently, my couch weighed approximately 400 pounds.

Big Family Movers came highly recommended by a friend and they lived up to their reputation. They went above an beyond what we expected. We had a short time frame to get ready for the move and though we'd bought 60 boxes, we ran out the night before moving day. We still had a lot of odd shaped things unpacked. The crew brought in extra wardrobe boxes and packed up the majority of what was left.

They were congenial and communicated well and did a fantastic job, including having to bring everything up a flight of stairs inside our new place. We highly recommend Big Family Movers.

Big Family Movers helped move us from Oakland to Berkeley - a short move, but still so much work! It took me several weeks to figure out when I was actually going to be ready to make the transition, and Noah was so flexible and generous with the scheduling. Then Anthony, Victor, and Mike showed up and made the whole thing happen, with good natured skill. Moving is SO stressful and these guys were relaxed, happy, quiet, helpful - whether they were carrying sleeper sofas down steep stairs or helping me decide which bed looked better in which room. They were such a calming, efficient presence on a long, busy day. They are pros, and it shows.

These guys squeezed us in to get us moved in after our scheduled movers couldn't make it up our street.

they were fantastic. it was New Year's Eve, they brought about 5 dudes and I think we were unloaded in 2 hours. Great company, friendly service from everyone, and like I said they helped us out of a jam on a holiday.

Noah helped me out with a very difficult situation with my elderly mom. He offered great kindness and compassion. He worked with me to find a mutual resolution to my problem. It is rare these days to find good customer service, but Noah showed it does still exist. Thank you, Noah!

Just finished my move from San Francisco to Sonoma County with Big Family and it couldn't have gone smoother. The crew showed up on time, was super friendly and professional, and got the entire process complete in just around five hours. The ending price was less than what I was quoted, everything arrived intact, and it was just an incredibly easy and pleasant experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a moving company, Noah and his team are the folks you want to go with. I can't recommend them enough.

Can't recommend highly enough! They moved my family from Albany to El Cerrito. Price was very reasonable and clear, charging by the hour. They disassembled and then reassembled a giant bunk-bed with lots of storage drawers and were able to maneuver it through our tiny hallways built in 1930. They worked quickly, but with great care and attention to our items. They were incredibly kind during such a stressful time for me, and made our move so much easier. So well-worth the cost!
