Dumpling dojo is next level fire. I tried the grilled chicken with fried rice and was blown away. The grilled chicken was seasoned to perfection and the fried rice was delicious and some of the best I've ever had. The pork in the fried rice was so high-quality that it could have been its own dish. We also got the general tso's dumplings and they were also unreal. The sauce was so good and the quality of the dumpling was amazing.

Let me start with the constructive feedback- and if you are still reading based on the scoring- you clearly want to try this place.
-Wish there was a more accessible entry- not stroller friendly.
-Wish some of their dishes came with sauce to dip in since a lot of it is finger friendly.
-Wish their menu didnt label all the seafood items as vegetarian.
Now the good, because a little bit of lifting and asking can help with the above!
Service was amazing. Our server was super informative and guided us on our culinary excursion.
Szechuan Ravioli- spicy vinaigrette so may be a little on the sour side for some, nice crisp on the outside
Fried Rice- serviceable, not much to it
Impossible Duck Bun - vegetarian, nice flavor profile and a good bite
Vegetable Bowl - lots of veggies and a choice of noodles or rice. Get the noodles.
Shanghai Wontons- we ordered this last but we should have done this first... and in multiples. My fav dish because I am a sucker for spicy peanut sauce.
Spicy Vegetable Bun- also a great bun, cant go wrong with any of them really. Nice sauté on the vegetables and great flavor.
If you made it this far....go! Get those shanghai wontons to start and see where your journey takes you!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 1, 20241 check-in
Small bright venue with cool murals. Metered street parking, unfortunately not much of it. Bright fast paced venue. We came here after where we went 1st told us we'd have a 1hr wait. I remembered being sent this place on IG, & was glad to find it was only 4 minutes from where we were.
Service was decent paced, staff were friendly & attentive. The food was good. I'd say it's a nice place to try if you're in the area. We had the Beef French Onion Ramen (sometimes referred to a Short Rib French Onion Ramen), steamed General Tso Dumplings, Short Rib Buns, & the General Tso Bowl w/butter Ramen option. Everything was pretty evenly matched, so no standout dishes. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Grades:
Beef French Onion Ramen: C+
General Tso Bowl (w/Butter Ramen): B+
General Tso Dumplings (Steamed): C
Short Rib Buns: B+Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 285109219Apr 21, 2024
The dumplings were ok with very little flavor in the filling. Got the impossible duck bun as well which had a very dry impossible duck and no flavor whatsoever. Portions are very small and with the food lacking necessary flavor, this was just not worth it.

Busy place with friendly service, and trendy music.
Food came out fairly quick and it was hot and tasty. Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We also had the short rib buns, I highly recommend them. The bun was soft and slightly sweet and had the just the right amount of short ribs with sauce and a cabbage topping. Limeade drink was also very good!
Good option for future takeout.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 20, 20244 check-ins
Dumpling Dojo was delicious and for having the name "dumpling" in it I was very satisfied with the taste of their dumplings. Just wish their soup dumplings were a tad bigger, they were a lot smaller than I expected.
Pros
- Service was very friendly
- Food was very tasty
Cons
- Street parking
- A bit pricey
My favorites were their steamed pork dumplings, crispy crème shrimp, and their soup dumplings were good but like I said the size was small not your average size.
Overall, service was great, food came out pretty quick. The kids loved it and I'll definitely come back and try more things to feed my belly!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 3, 2024
Not sure if this is a new spot in town, but its pretty good. They have a diverse which includes all of our favorites.
We ordered the General Tsos chicken bowl and the sesame chicken bowl. They were both great.
We also got the shrimp buns. They were pretty good maybe just a little heavy on mayo.
The service was fast and friendly.
In general, the space is small so pick up might be more convenient. However, we dined there and it was great.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Nov 18, 2023
I REALLY wanted to enjoy this, but I really didn't. The flavors didn't come together well and I was really left disappointed. My first clue was the overly fatty/minimal meat duck bao buns. We didn't even finish half of the serving.
I hate leaving low reviews but this restaurant really left me wanting more. It says a lot when I don't want or don't want to finish leftovers.
No offense to the waitstaff, but the food itself just wasn't worth the drive/effort. Best of luck though to this local spot.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information
