I meant to leave a review on the 29th because my experience was beyond exceptional. Side note: I wasn't prompted or paid to leave this review. I haven't had the best experiences as a woman at car service centers and have been tried to be taken advantage of by my lack of knowledge so I was initially dreading taking my car in. Let the story begin:
Back story we bought a Kia Niro in July/August and last week my husband had to patch my tire. He called the dealer and was told I should bring it in to get inspected. I brought it in and was introduced to do Chris who took my car back and Rick was the mechanic who looked at my car. I was told that they could patch it but I was hesitant due to the patch my husband just placed. A short time later, Rick, came and explained exactly how they place a patch, etc. so I felt comfortable with his decision to patch it. This is where it took the over and above customer service turn. He came BACK to the lobby I was waiting in and admitted he found the patch that my husband placed and asked if I would rather get a new tire which I agreed given that I drive close to 75 miles a day round trip for work. Fast forward to check-out Chris gave me an invoice for $0 for the tire as it was covered under warranty AND he explained they fixed the open recall while I was there so I didn't have to make the 45 min commute back another day. They brought my car back rinsed and vacuumed. A completely unrelated event happened while I was at the dealer so my day wasn't feeling all that great.
I hope Chris and Rick get a chance to read this and know what a difference they made in my day and turning it around for the better and restoring my faith that there are still honest car service centers around.

Well, I just had my fifth service visit in five years, so I guess a report is in order.
I bought a very nice, as new, less than 8k mile Cadenza from a different dealership in April of '19. I needed a Kia dealer to service it, and Beyer was one of the closer ones, and seemed easier get into and out of than others.
I just yesterday had yet another annual service visit; one a year works for me, as I drive very few miles. My service advisor for this visit was Michael Torres, but my experience this time was similar to others.
I typically look at recommended services for the mileage and time periods that are about where my car sits, and pick from them which to do.
The dealership does exactly what I ask. There have been occasional visits in which they recommend a service that I have not specified, but in every case, it has been one that it would be quite reasonable to suggest, given the information that they have. More often than not, I may have good reason to say that I think the car can do without that for this round. (I have a little background in tires and auto service) Not a single time have they ever pushed harder to get me to do that service, after I said no to it.
And never once did they suggest any service that was totally uncalled for, trying to run up a bill, as I have experienced at more than one other place.
Always polite, and I do not recall a single time the estimate for time in shop was exceeded.
The waiting area is very comfortable.

Had a great car buying experience here with Olessian (Less) and Jose.
Not a fan of the car buying experience, Less was zero pressure and once we decided to proceed, Jose was incredibly detailed talking us through the gadgets on our EV6.

Worst customer service experience I've ever received at a car dealer service center. And that's saying a lot, since most of them are at least a little shady in their practices. I recently bought a 2023 Kia and was told that the maintenance package I purchased with the car was good for use at ANY Kia dealer. So, I showed up to my appointment at Beyer only to be told that they do not take my maintenance package. I called the maintenance package company and they said that they do indeed work with ANY Kia dealer who is willing to work with them. So, Beyer Kia service is choosing not to honor my contract. Shame.

I stand on the fact that Don Beyer Kia is one of the best around. At least for me I have had a long term relationship with this service department and it's for a reason. Chris Prevatt is a wonderful service manager who is fair, understanding, and respected by the community. My vehicle recently broke down and the tow truck guy, unrelated to the dealership, knew Chris and had nothing but wonderful things to say. Car Service has picked up and Kia is busy, but Chris remains consistent and I am thankful for his leadership. I knew I wouldn't be able to keep this gem to myself for long.

I became a customer in 2011 with my first Kia Optima and have continued to be a customer after I purchased my second Kia Optima in 2018. My car has not been without issue, but Shwan Haider and Chris Prevatt have always taken care of me and my car. Really the whole team is great. When I am not able to schedule with Shwan service does not lack with anyone else. I even moved a distance away from the dealership and still travel from Maryland to Virginia to have my car serviced, diagnosed, oil changed, or whatever else is needed. The thing I appreciate about this service center is they are fair. It's not all about just performing services to take your money. The customer service is exceptional and if your car has to be there for a while loaner cars are provided, when available. I have visited other dealership service centers and my experience was not the same. I feel like I got lucky in 2011 and will remain a faithful Kia Customer, thanks to the wonderful service team at Beyer Kia!

The worst experience I have ever had getting a car in my life. The accountability is not existent. When I ask about property taxes the sales manager says don't worry we'll take care of it. The lease rental fee is over $8000 for 3 years. I could have gotten a leased Audi for less than the price I am paying for in the same term. The biggest of scams!
I am paying the nearly same sticker price for a small Kia Niro hybrid as a closer to medium size Hyundai Hybrid SUV. I have the biggest case of buyers remorse with this place.
The main manager was basically like you signed the contract we aren't going to do anything to help you. He didn't care. He also gave me incorrect information about my lease payments. He said the money you pay each does not go to paying the car. When we called Kia finance they said we pay around $300 of the $510 of our monthly payment towards the car.
The sales manager also ran my credit when we were trying to get a quote this week hurting my credit and didn't give me a price. He told me days later when I called that he would have to run my credit again if I want the numbers to finance the car we are leasing.
Almost any random other dealership you go to outside of Kia is better. Even Hyundai has better offers, prices, and service discounts/freebies.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

They kept my car for 3 weeks but would not provide a status on work in progress. They screened my calls through receptionist and wouldn't call back until work was completed. Very rude and unprofessional! The service dept manager Chris Prevatt was no help! Just as unresponsive and rude.

I have bought four cars from this dealership. the sales department was quick and easy. The service department much not help at all. They never return your phone calls, the service work is substandard. They quote one price but charge an additional 250.00 for work they did less than a year ago. I assure you I will never go back because of the treatment. I would think the owner would not want his service manager ignoring your calls. Apparently that is not the case. The only good thing I can say is the sales man Omar Pinto.
When we went to pick up the car we gave the cashier 800.00 cash, 450.00 on a credit card and another 250. 00 unexpected expense on another credit card. The cashier said we gave her 700.00 and we made her count it again. She finally acknowledged it was 800.00 after a hassle. Then we added up everything and they still over charged us fifty dollars. They said they would try to refund the money tomorrow. Tomorrow? You didn't wait 24 hours to take it and you had the car from the 26th of June until July 6th. Unacceptable!
one more thing it took three weeks to get an appointment in service. Not good customer service. So many in our family have bought there and we have told all of them about our experience. My 2020 Kia had to have a new transmission at 18,876 miles. Not good at all.

Well this was an A+ experience!! I've had a company car for over 25 years and now I'm leasing a car. A Kia Soul. Very cute.
It had a recall and I reached out to Beyer Kia in Falls Church. They were able to give me a very early appointment which I wanted and I was there at 7 AM this morning.
Fantastic customer service and very helpful. Very clean waiting room and I was out by 8:00AM! They even let me know there was a second recall so they fixed that as well.
To make it even better, I couldn't believe that they actually washed my car and vacuumed it. That was a wonderful surprise. My car has been sitting outside and it really was filthy. I don't have a garage in old town so it gets dirty faster.

Brought my Kia here 10 years. Not any more. Book service online, and they won't give a definitive time to bring the car in. Then 2 live chat persons say "Service Dept will call you with a time" and it never happens. Bye Bye Beyer!
