Came for a massage, the environment is clean and soothing and the staff friendly.
My deep tissue massage let me feeling loose in my shoulders and more relaxed, overall feeling of calm.

I purchased a groupon to use for an hour massage and it was a great deal. When you purchase it you have to set up an appointment. When I got there, the receptionist was very nice and welcoming. The massage therapist was amazing and very professional. I would definitely go again!

We arrived Extra early for two appointments as BBS requested, and were not taken for our massages until AFTER the start time. My girlfriend's massage lasted 45 minutes instead of an hour, and since they took me even later than her and I had other things to do than sitting in their waiting room all afternoon, I was only able to have a 30-minute massage + no consult.

This place has changed my life for the better! I found Better Body Solutions through their massage Groupon deal. That's where the love began. It came with a tension and posture analysis. They revealed what I already knew.. I was in a heap of trouble. I had been ignoring my pain for too long.
This place is a great one stop shop for everything. Having been to numerous chiropractors in the past, I knew the usual course of action but here, they go above and beyond. I have never seen results this dramatic and this fast before.
Dr. Lacey and Dr. G (best chiropractors I've seen in NYC) plotted out my treatment plan that has included adjustments, stim, traction, and PT that included strength exercises, stretching and massage. Everything has been carried out with the utmost compassion and care.
Sounds like a lot of work but I needed a lot of work. I went from a mess to practically perfect in 12 weeks. I feel a lot better and these pictures prove it! With the team at BBS providing the knowledge, know how and you actually do your home exercises, the solution to your pain and discomfort is in reach.

Thank you Bridgette for taking the time to share your experience. I'm touting my colleagues abilities, but they are in fact very caring and knowledgeable chiropractors. We especially appreciate you posting pictures (neat!) because the before and after pictures show significantly less muscle tension. Your posture is improved and holding you up against gravity beautifully. Keep up the good work!

I got a groupon from a girlfriend for Christmas for a massage. I have been calling every day since and leaving voicemails to try to schedule my appointment. No one has even got back to me in this one month ... just to schedule an appointment?

After a wait of 3 weeks, I went to my appointment and they cancelled it without telling me.
Just because there was a confusion with my order number, they cancelled it and found a person to replace my hour massage in less than 24 hours.
They just left a voicemail and sent an email to a random address that I have never owned.
On the other hand, I received a text message reminder of the appointment!!!
When I got there front desk just said "I am sorry, you can rebook for 20 days from now""I don't know what to say".
Now,
1. I went there for no reason
2. Didn't get the needed massage
3. Had to pay for an extra therapist solution
4. Moved my job to make time at 1pm for nothing. And travel time waisted!
And they can't make an effort to I don't know even ask a massaging to stay an hour longer for the day or something. It's so disrespectful and unfair.
I have to book thru the phone, communicating, talking with a front desk person, but they can literally just cancel my appointment and say "sorry, let's reschedule". I would never expect this unprofessionalism from a place on 42nd Street in New York City.

Bought a groupon years ago for a free massage and a chiropractic consultation. This is probably a personal issue but it was the most painful massage I've ever received. I definitely had tight spots on my shoulders but everywhere the masseuse went hurt. Very rough.
I had no expectations for the consultation. Just did some scans that color coded the spinal posture based on the severity of curvature. Doctor (?) showed me a simple exercise to do with my neck against the wall but avoided giving explaining anything else without suggesting scheduling future appointments.
I get that many people might have just came for the free groupon massage so they might have been pushing to create longer-termed clients, but the visit put me off from going any further with their group/branch.
This was at least 3 years ago and they're still trying to get me to come back (tried once in July and once today). I guess due to covid, they're trying to pull back their clients. I received a nice massage from Tracey. She paid attention to my problem areas and was attentive to pain sensitivity. Unfortunately, the room I was put into was not suitable for a comfortable and relaxing massage. The fluorescent lights were left on, the air conditioner was very very loud and leaking on the floor, and the room was not very clean. To make matters worse they had an AC technician fixing the AC while I was there, trudging dirty air filters around (to their credit it was a 90 degree summer day) but all things considered, I believe Better Body Solutions can do better in terms of comfort and room decor.
Bottom line, if you want a cheap massage and don't mind the lack of "mood lighting" and a relaxing atmosphere than this might be your place. It's my first time here and deep tissue massages so I'm a bit of nervous and excited. However it went well. I feel so relaxing now. I used to take a pain killers pill for muscle pain and always think it's ok. Then my friend told me that I need a massage. "Ingrid" is very professional and nice. She always asks me about the amount of pressure and the spot. Thank you so much

I came in with a Groupon for a massage and exam. I have gotten massages before and had been to a chiropractor once. I recently have been having some lower back tension and have been scared to get a massage in fear I may make it worse. I was super excited to find a Groupon for a chiropractic massage and exam, I hope it would help solve my issue. This, however, was an immense letdown.
It took forever for me to book an appointment and while I did not get the typical backlash associated with presenting a Groupon, I feel the services provided were just to bait you into becoming a new customer. Which I would have done had the services actually helped me!
First I had the massage portion of the Groupon and I was skeptical as to why this went before the exam. I also was shocked by the semi-private rooms. Let's just say some folks didn't understand or care that someone else was in the room with them. I went from being kind of relaxed to not relaxed at all due to the two roommates I had going in and out. However, my masseuse was good about applying pressure to the right spots so no complaints there.
Next was my exam. The exam took about 10 minutes and the findings were briefly explained to me by someone who was not a nurse or doctor. I was then told that the doctors were out to lunch at 3pm in the afternoon and that I could wait or make an appointment. I would have called their bluff on the waiting but I had to get back to work.
I find it odd that I was given an exam and then told a doctor had to explain them to me but that no one was around despite my being a half hour early and on the schedule.
My insurance would handle the cost and that is not an issue. The issue is that essentially my time was wasted. This place is out of the way for me but I was willing to make the trek. Currently still in pain and making the sound decision to stop buy groupons for such services and hating that this place has officially rubbed me the wrong way.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
