Best Western Plus Wakeeney Inn & Suites

The ladies that worked here were so nice. They get the star. The room was a complete disappointment. We arrived to learn the pool and hot tub were not working, and from the green color had not been usable for some time. Then the room had old cans on the floor. The king bed was fine, but the couch was completely broken, and you sunk to the floor if you tried to sit down. The pull out bed you can see in the photos was bent and useless. Not that anyone could sleep on a 2 millimeter mattress even if it had been working. Finally, the light could not be turned off. The ceiling light just flashed incessantly when the switch was in the off position. The employees just shrugged when we told them the problems. Best Westen Plus used to stand for a decent room, but this location is atrocious.

I wanted something nicer than usual. Paid $99 and found the outside was up scaled but the room was not. And the bath was unusable.
The fitted sheet looked like it had a body indentation still in it.
Housekeeping is POOR POOR POOR
Breakfast was in a bag ( due to COVID)....I get it..... but they could have said so at check in. The bag I randomly chose had a chocolate muffin with chocolate chips and a Fruit Loops cereal cup in it. YEaaaa.

Up our stay and after we questioned it, we were told we were wrong and my wife was a bitch, totally unhappy with this place it sucks, there are cheaper AND BETTER places to stay.

This is a 1-2 star motel. The ladies at the front desk were nice. Unfortunately, the place was not worth what they were charging. It was dirty and I did not feel comfortable there. Hair in the bathroom. Stains on sheets. It should've been a $50/night stay. Unfortunately there are not that many options in the area and we had to stop and sleep. Would not recommend.

New, clean, friendly staff. I would gladly stay at this location again. The hotel was wonderful for the price.

I stayed this hotel for the night. The clerk name Bill was really nice and professional with his job. The room was clean and nice. But my only disappointment was the breakfast bar the man was in charge was kinda rude. I was just looking to see what kind of breakfast they have the man was like yelling at me like "Go behind the table". And i was like ok, I was just looking what kind of food you have. They were so strict about getting too close but I saw him in the hallway with the worker they don't even have their mask on.

Very disappointed. I booked this place for their hot breakfast and hot tub. We were given a nasty "grab and go" breakfast. The hot tub was broken. The room refrigerator wasn't working and the sheets were so old they were ripped.

This place was just ok. Kinda of tired looking. It was clean but could use a pick me up. The towels even could use a refresh. The staff was nice but gave me a room key to someone else's room. Luckily the person wasn't there or didn't hear me open the door. The bed was comfy but pillows, not so much. We had two rooms and neither had an extra roll of toilet paper. We had to go down to the front desk to get extra at 11:30pm. Breakfast was to-go bags with apple, granola bar, oatmeal, and water bottle. Coffee available but no juice. Finally, laundry room only had one of two washers operating and someone had laundry sitting in it all night so we couldn't do laundry.

Great stay. Place had an amazing amount of bugs and smell of bug spray inside the hotel.

On our way to Denver, we got off the highway in Wakeeney. What a great experience! We were greeted at front desk by a smiling face and given our AAA discount. We entered room and it had a "doggy" smell and were immediately given a new room. Parking lot is ample and well lit. Room was very nice, beds were comfy. A plus was the organic products in the bathroom. Cherry on top... we were told about a delicious steak house off of Main and it great!!! Doubt I'll be back to Kansas but if you're in the area give this Best Western a try. WORTH IT!!!
