Best burgers in town by far and rival most good burger spots in Saraland as well!! Biscuits are to-die-for.

These are some darn fine biscuits. I mean really good. I wish it were closer.

We tried the ham biscuit, bacon/egg/cheese, and sausage biscuit. Ham wins but all are great.

The tots weren't that hot, get another biscuit instead. Some of the best biscuits I've had in years. I wish it were closer to home.

Very good biscuits. My husband and I stopped in on our way from our cruise and ordered a couple of biscuits. Homemade and buttery.

Fantastic. Is the best fast food burger I've had. Glad I stopped there going thru. And all the kids loved it too

My wife and I just stopped and had the Bama combo - mine with all the toppings with fries. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. They even offered us a sample of their chili. If you're looking for a break from typical fast food and want real burgers with a home town feeling - Bertile's is for you!

Breakfast here is wonderful, I suggest the chicken biscuit or gravy and biscuits. That is where wonderful ends. I have tried the bama burger 2 times and both times were average to below average. Which is a shame because only other two places for burgers are McDonald's and Hardees. They should be really striving for a hometown burger. The burger you get is the same old fast food burger, that has mayo, lettuce and tomato. When you eat a burger you should be able to taste the patty. The patty should be the star with the condiments just to push the burger over the top. You could actually leave the patty off and would not know the difference.

Ok but not great. I had heard accolades about this place so I stopped on my way to Pensacola. my friend and I ordered the "Big Bama" combo - i.e. cheeseburgers, fries, and drinks. The meat itself was good, but the buns were cold and the cheese was not melted. They merely slapped cold pieces of cheese on the burger before serving it. The fries were a bit soggy too. The establishment itself was like any typical fast food restaurant. It was clean and the person who took our order was nice.

It would be wrong to say my meal was bad, it wasn't, but when I see a restaurant has 4 stars I expect it to be at least good. My meal was simply okay, not bad, not good. Burger was average, tater tots were just plain out of the bag tots.

Best burgers, fries usually cold, little overpriced but again burgers are good
