If your looking for a homey appeal ; and wonderful food this is the place to go! Comfortable close to all the The Berkshires has to offer! A home with history and a wonderful couple who run it.

Quaint, quirky, comfortable...it's like your favorite grandmother's house only with internet. The rooms and common areas are charming, with handmade quilts, four poster beds, beamed ceilings, and hardwood floors. Ron is a great host, knowledgeable and accommodating. We arrived in a rainstorm and he came out with an umbrella, insisting on helping with the luggage. Ron makes a hearty breakfast, too. Everything homemade, fresh and delicious. The location on Rt. 7 also means it's easy to get anywhere you want in the Berkshires. Highly recommended!

Solid bed and breakfast in the Berkshires - more of a 3.5 star then 3. The rooms are comfortable and the decor has a ton of character. Lots of books on New England and the surrounding areas and pamphlets on what to do. Lots of magazines and newspapers and music to listen to in the living room. I think I saw some board games too. In the evening there is fruit and wine to drink and bottled water in a fridge that can be used. Not a lot of rooms so not bustling which is nice and quick access to hiking trails and crafts stores. Breakfast was good - we had fresh coffee, oj, carrot muffins/banana bread/banana muffins, fruit bowls with blueberries, strawberries and pineapple and then one day a vegetable fritatta with toast and turkey sausage and the other a vegetable egg casserole with salad, toast and bacon. The very friendly and provided hand drawn maps to us to showcase some great running trails. Cons are the shared bathroom room that we had which is inconvenient. Also parking is limited and given it's an old house you have very creaky floors and doors that require extra force to close. Additionally the place wasn't as clean as it could have been with cob webs in lots of places and some little spiders as well. Additionally at night one of the wines we tried had gone bad. However the price per room is very reasonable and again the people there are very warm.

Liked the place and will go back. The owners were very nice, the common area was comfortable and warmed by a nice gas insert, nice breakfast, it was close enough to town and skiing, and the rooms were small but comfortable.
