I took my extremely weak, 83 yr. old mother who is suffering from a rare autoimmune disease with advanced stage pulmonary fibrosis (on oxygen 24/7) to see an ENT doctor here. When I nicely asked him if he could put on a mask because of her condition, he refused. Turns out the entire office wasn't masked since they are a private practice and when I brought up the issue with the staff explaining my mother's vulnerable condition they showed no empathy or concern around potentially being carriers and infecting her. If you need to protect someone who is in a vulnerable state, please avoid this place.

Had a great visit in the office, the doctor was great. However, I called the surgical line instead of the number to schedule my catscan and the woman who called me back was very rude. I called the wrong number, I get that now, but she was very demeaning and acted like it was a huge mistake that I called her by accident.
In her words... "uh.... you're supposed to call the hospital directly.... remember.....? They gave you the number and you're not supposed to call me......" I said alright I'm sorry I couldn't find the number that they gave me. And she goes ok ha goodbye.
I WILL be going somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Beth H.Los Angeles, CA6111712May 5, 2020
My mother is staying with me during the quarantine, and I'm realizing that she can't hear well at all with the $1800 hearing aid that she got from this company. Very disappointing!

My review is based on pure ease of access. They don't pick up the phone before 9 a. M. And then they don't pick up the phone between 11: 30 a. M. And 12: 30 p. M. Not very convenient for patients.

I felt compelled to open a yelp account just to share horrible experience. Scheduled an appointment with office manager as new patient with very serious symptoms. She seemed nice and empathetic on phone. Was told $100 due at time of service. So arrive 20 minutes early, "take a number", fill out paperwork, and then a rude receptionist named Tracy informs me that I cant see the doctor unless I pay in full. She would not disclose the specific cost of visit and subsequently would not give me back my paperwork when I requested it "it's our property now". Wouldn't acknowledge convo I had with office manager at time of scheduling. Unethical at the very least...most importantly, was denied service. Moreover, the office looks like a check cashing station inside and is apparently run like one. And they also accessed my charts ahead of time without my permission. Zero integrity and compassion at Berks ENT. I have thick skin but whole experience was absurd. Look at earlier reviews not the ads, the staff reflects very poorly on their business.
