My Fiancé lives in Bossier City and I live in Houston. On the way back to Texas I decided to go by and grab some items to take home with me. I am thrilled with all the items I bought but will have to adjust the cook times in the future as not all the directions worked accordingly. I am still going back for more.

Very nice selection of original Cajun food and the prices are reasonable. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth a return visit.

You can purchase raw burger patties that are pre seasoned. I have not been to the store, but I recently went to a house party where a friend had purchased and grilled their burger patty.

The seasoning on the patty is a mix of bbq with Cajun flavoring. It is not spicy but full of flavor and a great size. They look like half pound burger patties.

Love the lunch selection here! I crave the boudin balls and cracklins. Venison is good too. I go here once a month to stock up on frozen meats and treats, especially the stuffed twice baked potatoes.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The store was clean, and well organized. Looked like there were lots of tasty meat options.

I went to find pork Cracklins and hog head cheese. The Cracklins were very good. They were not overcooked, seasoned well, and the skin was nicely crunchy and not chewy. These rivaled Billy's Cracklins down on I-10 in Scott Louisiana. I would certainly stop by there again even though it was a bit out of my way.

I love the pork shanks, pepper Jack boudin balls, chicken and sausage gumbo, duck and andouille gumbo, and the cracklin. The fried turkeys used to be good but the last 2 years, they were dry.

Smoked spicy boudin was so good and just the right amount of spice! Boudin balls were also good! Lady's were helpful and nice when we got in.

Coming from California, this place is like heaven. I wish we had Bergeron in California. That place would be packed. The staff was so friendly also. I love this place. Definitely worth the trip.
