Bellissima Day Spa

I had an excellent massage experience here that truly left me feeling re-energized and like a whole new person! The skilled masseuse, Monique, worked magic on my tired muscles, it was a great combination of getting those knots in my back and some relaxation.

The ambiance of the spa was calming and soothing, adding to the overall experience. I left the spa feeling rejuvenated and with a renewed sense of energy.

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind, relax, and recharge. I will definitely be returning for another session. I told Monique that I need to make this a more regular part of my self care routine- I left this place with no aches or pain and felt like my energy was great after getting all the knots out- definitely a happier me! thank you again Monique!

My first massage today was a gift from heaven. Nicole knew exactly what my body needed and provided a variety of massage traditions to help me release deep emotions and holding patterns. It's a sweet serene oasis in this mad world.

I got the "Experience in Paradise" which encompassed the entire body. Head to toes. I'm speechless. I had no idea how detached I was from my body--how dissociated I've become. This experience helped me come back. Tears were released and I feel relief. Thank you so much, Monique!! Definitely coming back for that couples retreat

P.S. the tea after the session was the cherry on top!

Love this place! Love the ambience, decorations and service is wonderful. I would rather spend more more money here for services and tip.

Hands down the best zen spa in the Bay Area. I love the ambiance and excellent service here. There is a reason why Bellissima Day Spa has been around for awhile, and that reason is Monique! Her professionalism, service, and kindness goes a long way and does not go unnoticed. Thank you again for an amazing facial and massage last week. 10/10 would recommend!

Had such a nice time at this day spa yesterday. I had trouble finding a spa that could accommodate a party of 4 for massages and facials with two weeks notice, but they were able to fit us in. The owner was very kind and prompt with confirming our appointment and answering any questions I had.

The spa is like a hidden gem in an otherwise busy area of Berkeley. My mom had the complete healing package, my sister had a hydrating facial and my other sister and I had indulgent massage. Since I'm 38 weeks pregnant my attendant Polly had me lie on my side. It was soo relaxing - probably then most comfortable I've been lying down in months.

The ambiance was very relaxing, every attendant was kind and professional. Everyone left feeling relaxed and generally feeling so much better. Would definitely return again.

Very Berkeley space. A converted basement level in a Victorian house. Cute entry but why no seating? Would be a good addition.

The entrance and spaces are dark. Soothing but also dark. The rooms are small - would have liked a small seat to sit on to dress after.

Massage itself was lovely. Very relaxing as requested. She was very tuned into my responses to pressure points and techniques. Nice music and a soothing warming table.

Overall lovely experience. The space isn't 5 star but the massage was pretty close!

Just wonderful! We've moved since when we first started to come here but it's worth the drive so we're back! The owner has always been kind and nice to schedule. I just had my first massage with Poppy and she was Fantastic for my very sore neck/shoulders/back finding knots I hadn't realized I had. Perfect amount of pressure, aromatherapy, friendly convo, and everything I look for in a massage! Warm beds, the headrests always smell good (versus other massage places where they get a locker room smell), and orange peel water.

My daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon at bellissima day spa! The massage was awesome!

Excellent massages, and they were able to fit us in quickly. Dora was very intentional and was great with deep tissue work.
