If I have my dog in a backpack, would I be allowed to enter?
A:
Hello Luci. We have a no dog policy in the Garden, so allowing this would not be fair to our other visitors. It is best to leave your dog at home. Kind regards,… more

Hi there, Is this place good for stroller? Paved road, gravel road? Would it be too bumpy for 3 months old? Thanks
A:
Most of the garden paths are gravelled. The area at the entrance and around the coffee shop is paved and a favorite with mothers with strollers.

I think it was a really quite place to hangout with a date but definitely not with a group of jokesters haha. I was hanging out here with my family and they were finding it so boring here, I think they are the type who would fall asleep to such a chill place in the afternoon.
But I saw a lot of couples coming here and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. Also, it was just nice to just find a chair together and just talk together, and we saw a couple who were doing meditation on the chairs while holding hands. While another was doing a picnic on the grass. It would had been nice if we brought some food with us.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 28, 2024
Our sanctuary in the city.
We love it here and are so thankful to live close to this wonderful oasis of nature. The gardens are meticulously well kept and always have something new going on. The garden library is now open for the spring so you can check out the books when you visit Copper Kettle Coffee. There are tables for you to sit and read which is really nice.
During the winter season the garden hosts a wonderful lights display that we visit every year.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 18, 2024
We visited at a fairly busy time, but had no trouble in finding parking!
The entire garden was massive, and we tried to visit each part of it. Everything was beautifully arranged with a wide variety of sights and plants. The garden has a nice picnic spot by their cafe and tomato garden, which is definitely a nice spot to visit with friends and family! Will come again.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 94437299Jan 17, 2024
What a cute place to take a walk with the family or friends. Grab a cup of coffee and take a stroll. Even tho all the plants were basically gone for the season, it was still such a fun and pretty walk. It's completely free besides during the light shows during winter which is inexpensive in itself.
During this time it is so cold and the pond and tiny falls are completely frozen. Dogs are welcomed here. We even met someone with a beautiful pet turtle!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 19, 2024
Bellevue Botanical Garden is a beautiful place to spend a couple of hours walking around and just enjoy nature. Admission and parking is free. I visited with my family in the winter and had a great time. They had a scavenger hunt paper for kids and my kids had a blast exploring/finding everything. I've never visited in the spring or summer, but I can only imagine how lovely it is at those times too!

I came here with some friends this weekend and even though there weren't many flowers, it was still a really nice walk! Sadly we missed the gift shop, but it was a lovely trail to peruse and the bridge, as short was it was, was fun to walk across.
The parking lot smells amazing right now!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 14, 2023
While visiting, we had a couple hours to spare and decided to visit the Bellevue Botanical Garden. Completely shocked that there is no entrance or parking fee to this beautiful garden!
We didn't walk the entire garden but walked through to the Suspension Bridge which was quite cool to see. The path is mainly a dirt gravel so prepare to have dust left behind on your shoes. We pushed a stroller through which was a little bumpy but manageable.
There were two tables outside the entrance to eat or hang around. Benches scattered around the gardens if you want to sit and admire the nature surrounding you or take a break. Awesome place to visit!Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - Sep 16, 2023
I absolutely love this place! Not a place to skip when you're visiting this area! Free parking and free entrance! The trails are easy and well-defined and can spend one or two hours enjoying the views of the forest and garden.
The garden is well-maintained, and I saw a guy blowing the leaves one morning as I was walking by. Pets are not allowed, so the garden is free from dog poop. There are plenty of spider webs though as you walk into the very quiet areas in the morning. I also saw a random deer, but I didn't have enough time to take a picture.
There are plenty of benches throughout the garden, so you can take a break if needed.
The fun part is walking to the bridge and feeling it shake as you're walking across.
The garden is beautiful and amazing! The flowers were in full bloom and a great sight to see. My favorite was the dahlias.
Overall, you can tell that they really care about this garden by the maintenance and cleanliness of the garden and trails. It's worth the time to check this place out!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Dec 12, 2023
We went here with family on Nov. 30th for the Garden d'Lights. I've never been to this botanical garden before, so I can't speak on its usual presentation, but we had a great time looking at the lights! Tickets were $5 a person, super affordable. Bonus points for the coffee I got from their cafe (decaf white chocolate mocha w/ oat milk--annoyingly complicated, I know) being super yummy :) I was searching for something like this as my four-month-old daughter LOVES string lights and the only other lights show I've been to changed to drive thru only. Thanks for the great experience!

A lovely place for a long meandering walk through different types of gardens, but mainly the Pacific Northwest style. There is a coffee shop on the property that serves adequate coffee. There's a very sweet gift shop with excellent gift options for you or someone special.
They will have their holiday lights up soon. I hear they are spectacular.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
