Bella Trattoria

This was my first time here, we were celebrating a large family birthday dinner. It was delicious! The owner and bartender worked well together to make sure we had drinks and food promptly. Pizzas, pastas and salads were all wonderful! We will be coming back!

My family orders from here every Friday night. The pizza is very good, the side salads are also top-notch. The ranch and Italian dressing are very good as well. The only I would change is to put more sausage on the pizza, but still a hidden gem.

We decided to try Bella Trattoria on a friend's recommendation. We had big expectations and they met our expectations and then some. We tried the Italian beef pizza and it was delicious! We also tried the butter, oil and herbs penne and that was great too! The chicken and broccoli fettuccini Alfredo was really good as well. We topped off our meal with Cannolis and Tiramusu, which were also very good. The meals were huge portions, the deserts were small in comparison. We were very pleased with what we ordered and will be back to try some of the other things on the menu that looked tempting.

As travelers we stopped here heading back from Chicago.
This place is fabulous for many reasons, it's a cute historic downtown, the service is top notch, and people couldn't be nicer. Doubles as a bar to watch sports. It's a place where locals hang out and get takeout. The problem is the food and that's a big problem. The pizza is terrible, the sauce has no flavor and the cheese I don't even know what it was, the crust is like bisquick -they did have fresh mushrooms and the sausage was pretty good for toppings. Italian beef what a disaster, I don't know what that flavor was but even with the a jus and peppers it couldn't be recovered. Antipasto salad had lots of olives that's a plus but it was that low budget lettuce with the cabbage and carrots and there were some brown spots too. 2 pieces of salami and 2 provel slices cheese. The Italian dressing was okay. Overall just get a slice of pizza at Casey's because we left hungry.

Food and service are great! Love it here. Always try to stop in when in the area. Pizza is exceptional.

GREAT PIZZA. Wonderful thin, crispy crust,plenty of cheese and good tasting Italian sausage. A side salad big enough to feed two. Fast, friendly service. Best pizza I have had since I left Chicago.

I have always liked the food and the atmosphere here but if you are trying to stay safe from COVID, this is not the place to go. Went here for dinner tonight and absolutely no one working there was wearing a mask. The waitress had a mask on but under her chin when we first arrived but after that she just removed the mask. Probably won't go back

Love the small town feel of this place, cute restaurant for a date or just a Saturday night pizza outing. Food is very good, pizzas are great. Only complaint: the salad needs some serious love. :-(
Iceberg, one tomato, some shredded cheese. Amp up the salad and this place is perfect

My family and I ate at this establishment tonight and all I can say is wow and not in a good way. We were the only people in the restaurant. The son of the guy working, looked to be 9 or 10 years old, served us. At first I thought it was cute. That he was just helping his dad until I watched him not only bring us our menus but take our drink order, which he got wrong, and bring us our food. I also watched him run in and out of the kitchen to get to go orders all while his father played on the slot machines. The only thing the regular server did was take our actual food order and bring us the check. Needless to say he got a piece of my mind when he brought me the check. This is the 3rd time I've been to this establishment and the first 2 times I was not impressed with the service and that was from the owner! He acted like I should be thanking him for allowing me to eat at his establishment instead of the other way around. The only positive thing I will say is the pizza is good but I will NEVER eat at this restaurant again!

Great food and family owned.
Pizza with white sauce is awesome!
Most all of the pasta is great as well.
Hidden gem for sure, gotta love the small town feel
