Agne did a phenomenal job on my hair and makeup for an Academy award ceremony in Beverly Hills. It all turned out better than I could have imagined and I got so many compliments.

I was impressed by the photos and reviews here on Yelp, and luckily Agne was available. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the time with her as she is very personable, fun and explained what she was doing. I also really appreciated her awareness and diligence about preventing the spread of germs.

Agne's makeup class and presence is an exceptional experience overall. Her professionalism and background in the industry are proven through her workmanship and craftsmanship.

I was intrigued with her techniques using our hands to apply a daily look. She helped me understand the color theory aspect of matching colors to my skin tone that would compliment me. It went beyond skin tone. She also helped me identify the shape of my face and eyes according to a chart that was provided. These charts indicated what technique of highlighting/contouring that would highlight my face structure best.

I gained so much insight. Thank you, Agne, for your wisdom and welcoming presence in your safe haven cove. You curated an open, safe space for us to go beyond skin deep into our perceptions of beauty.

Agne is one of the top makeup artists/hair stylists in Los Angeles and the owner of Beauty Affair. I booked her for my engagement shoot and am so happy with my decision! She made me look and feel so beautiful! She is incredibly talented and one of the sweetest people you will meet in your life. Agne truly has an eye for beauty, is detail oriented, and will make you look like the most gorgeous version of yourself! She was so easy to talk to and make me super comfortable while I was getting ready. I had such a fun time chatting and getting ready with her! She checked in with me throughout the getting ready process to see how I was liking things and we really worked as a team to give me the best look. I had sent her some inspiration photos beforehand and she truly exceeded my expectations!

I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and makeup from friends and family. The makeup was exactly what I was looking for, glamorous but still looked like myself and did not feel too heavy or cakey at all. The hair was so romantic and perfect. The waves and twists of the half-up style lasted all day! I have a bad tendency of oxidizing various foundations, particularly because I have fair and oily skin; however, the foundation she applied was perfect and matched my skin tone amazingly. I did not look orange or yellow. The makeup looked great even multiple hours after the shoot was over. I was so happy that my fiancé loved my hair and makeup too!

Beyond her top notch beauty skills, Agne is such a kind and caring human being. After my hair and makeup was done, she even helped me get into my 4 inch heels, which was quite a tricky task once I was already in my form-fitting long formal dress. She even helped me pick out the best jewelry to wear from a few pieces I had brought along. That was very sweet of her and I really appreciated that she went above and beyond.

I have booked Agne and her team for my wedding day as well and I'm so excited to work with her again! I highly recommend her!! Also, if you are looking for an incredible photographer, her husband Tomas (the Big Affair)is the best photographer!! We could not be happier with him and his stunning, timeless, and romantic photos(see my review on his page as well). They are the best team and we are super grateful to get to know and work with them both.

So happy we chose Beauty Affair to help us get 'glammed' for a GRAMMY party! Agne did our make-up and Kalina did our hair and they were fabulous! I got married last weekend & was blown away by how gorgeous Agne & her team made me & my bridesmaids look & feel. She listened to what kind of look we each wanted then executed everything perfectly. Our wedding guests commented saying how "stunning" everyone looked. Agne really enhances your natural beauty without making you feel or look like you have a ton of makeup on. Where do I begin... I booked Agne personally for my wedding back in 2020, but due to COVID, my wedding got postponed to 2021, and then to 2022. I signed the contract and made the deposit from a while back. Fast forward to March 2022, I emailed her saying how excited I was to work with her for my wedding and when we could schedule the trial for. She responded saying: "Sorry, I am personally not available on this day, but my artists are. You can find our pricing online and it's changes from 2020. Let me know how many services and what kind do you need and I will get back to you with a quote." I was shocked, and I quickly responded showing the contract to her and explaining to her that this is probably a misunderstanding since we already signed the contract for my wedding day and I already paid the deposit. She responded to this email with this (verbatim): "Yes, I have the contract. As I mentioned I am not available on this day. Let me know what is the best way to return your deposit of $810 back." I was absolutely startled. I couldn't believe I was hearing this from a professional in the business. This happened just 4 months before my wedding date! It took me a long time to truly understand what had happened to me. I had to reach out to other hair stylists and makeup artists and ask if they had availability only 4 months before my big day. I tried forgetting about this incidence and didn't want to write this bad review, but I want other brides to know that Agne is not reliable. Thankfully, I was able to book the hairstylist and makeup artist of my dreams, whom I wanted to book for my original wedding date but they were booked. It seemed that God had better plans for me and for that, I am truly grateful.

I booked the Beauty Affair for my wedding this past March (3/27/21). There were 6 bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, & myself (the bride), which whom all have different hair textures and lengths (kinky, curly, fine, wavy/ long hair, short hair). Agne & her team truly blew me away. I didn't have a hair/ makeup schedule for everyone and Agne was kind enough to create a schedule for everyone to ensure everything went smoothly. Her line of communication was always open weather through text, email, or phone. She was always ready to assist with any questions or concerns I had. The day of the wedding she and her team arrived on time & prepared with all the right tools and hair products. Agne along with her other stylist went out of their way to make sure everyone's hair looked perfect. Agne even washed & dried my hair extensions for me because I was to busy & tired to wash them the night before. They were both so positive and fun to work with. Their energy was great and you could tell based on their knowledge & actions they were real professionals who know everything there is to know about hair textures and styling. They really care about making everyone look great & feel happy. Agne & her other stylist were able to execute with perfection myself, along with all my bridesmaids & flower girls in just a few hours. Not only did everyone's hair look AMAZING, more importantly, the curls & styles actually held up the ENTIRE evening looking freshly curled with a beautiful shine (mind you, this was an outdoor wedding). All of our curls stayed bouncy and in place, and with zero frizz! I was so happy. Before Agne and her team left they made sure everyone was happy with their hair and offered any final touch ups. Agne also advised me to do a quick brush through my hair after changing into my reception gown for the dinner and reception, assuring me that the style she created would hold the entire evening & look fabulous. I followed her instructions and did the quick brush through after changing dresses, and my hair looked simply beautiful. The hair products she used on us gave everyone's hair a beautiful shine with zero product build up, allowing me to brush through my hair with ease, while keeping all the curls held in the proper place. I'm going to post a few photos for reference..The last photo of us kissing with the desserts was at the very end of the evening; you can see in the photo how nicely my hair held up outdoors and dancing all night. When myself and a few bridesmaids woke up the next morning, our hair still looked great.lol All we had to do was quick brush through, and this was the day after the wedding! A special thank you again to The Beauty Affair, you & your team took so much stress off the bride, allowing all of us to sit back and have the best time getting ready & looking fabulous the entire evening. The Beauty Affair is worth every penny and then some! Don't hesitate booking them, you won't be disappointed.

I got married on April 21st of this year, and I booked Agne to do my hair for the "day of" in addition to her team to do my bridesmaids' hair and makeup. I could not have been happier with the results. Not only did I get numerous compliments (and counting because to this day friends and family are still raving over my hair), I also felt glamorous and beautiful. I wanted an updo that was unique, and after showing Agne some inspiration photos, she knew exactly what I had in mind. In fact, the execution was even better! My hair lasted the entire night, and let me tell you, I danced my heart out on the dance floor. I also want to write about Agne's level of professionalism, which was just wonderful. I secured her for my wedding a year in advance and throughout she kept in contact with me, having me fill out questionaries and frequent important reminders such as when to schedule my trial run. I felt as though she thoroughly cared about making my vision come through. In fact, even after my wedding she asked how I liked everything.
As for my bridesmaids, Kelly from Beauty Affair styled their hair and Jordan did their makeup. Each bridesmaid loved their natural, yet elegant looks. I highly, highly recommend a Beauty Affair for anyone's wedding needs.

Agne is the sweetest, most gifted makeup and hair artist I've ever worked with. She took the time to get to know me and listen to my vision for the wedding day. Agne made myself and my wedding party look gorgeous, and our makeup and hair lasted for hours, even after dancing.

I highly recommend Agne and her team! I will only be using them from this point onwards.
