      1 check-in

Finally got to try Beach'n after itching to so long. Their hours are breakfast/lunch oriented, which is usually difficult for me to make. But if you've been making a similar excuse do yourself a favor: take the day off and treat yourself to some delicious vegan food.

Beach'n is in a lovely spot just a couple blocks from Ocean Beach (duh) and Golden Gate. It's small-ish but they have some outdoor seating, perfect if the sun is gracing you with its presence.

Ordering is my favourite style: all at the counter, taking care of payment upfront. Staff is friendly and helpful and food comes out promptly.

The menu consists of american/comfort style dishes items and breakfast items are served all day. My partner and I ordered the caesar salad and chicken sandwich to start, both of which were well enjoyed. So much, in fact, that we got some bonus french toast at the end. That was my favourite dish--thick slices and great flavour.

Excited to come back and try more of their menu!

The server asked if we wanted Oat or Almond milk in our Salted Caramel Latte.  We answered regular milk is fine.  But the server said they only have oat or almond milk. That is when I realized this is a vegan place.

We also ordered a plate of Leo's cakes to share - huge tater tots topped with guac.  It was way better than avocado toast.

The vibe is earthy relaxed style.

The service at this place compared to that at Java Beach Café, which is right around the corner, is like night and day. The lady at the counter at this cafe was a bit cold-shouldered and gave me a darting-eye look whenever I interacted with her even when I thanked her for a menu item recommendation.

Her recommendation of the Beach'n crunchwrap was on point. Quite tasty and actually audibly crunchy! Not overly greasy or salty. I might like this crunchwrap even better than the one at TB.

The Ethiopian pour over was pretty botched.....didn't know a pour over could taste so bitter. Don't recommend.

Unwelcoming/awkward vibes overall. Ehhh I suppose if you're looking for a vegetarian/vegan spot in the neighborhood I'd say it's still worth checking out.

My girlfriend recommended this place after my hardheaded a$$ tried to get her to go to another brunch spot with the name I didn't even remember lol. And I've got a hand it to her...This place was pretty good.

I am trying to explore more plant-based resturants but I have to be in the mood to eat those kinds of foods. This day I wasn't in the mood, until I tried their food.

I had got there vegan fried chicken sandwich with a side salad while my girlfriend had the beachin crunch wrap. We also shared brussels sprouts and had iced coffee. The food was pretty good. The brussels sprouts weren't oily and had the right amount of salt and lime. I could've just eaten that whole plate. I really liked my sandwich though. I was really surprised with the vegan chicken. I believe one of the barista said that the brand was TINDLE. I am definitely going to try to look for that brand. It had the texture of fried chicken, but when you bite intk it, the inside is more softer. The side salad was refreshing as well. My girlfriend really liked her crunch wrap. She said it tasted like a healthy, crunch wrap supreme from Taco Bell. I definitely want to try their hash cakes the next time we go.

The place was pretty small. It was pretty packed when we went. I recommend people going early because it gets full fast. The workers were also really nice. The girl at the front answered all of our questions. Even the barista did too. They're pretty friendly staff.

I definitely recommend this place for couples or people who are willing to try plant-based food. Obviously, for the meat lovers, there's going to be a difference in the meatless options. But they are really tasty if you'd just give them a chance.

I'm not vegan, but don't mind trying vegan restaurants and foods. I brought my dog to sit outside and it was a nice day. Ordered the tofu scramble and then had some of the french toast sticks to share. The french toast was so good! Very crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. The tofu scramble was okay. It definitely needed the spicy salsa to add more flavor to it. I did love their hash browns though. Very crunchy outside and the potatoes on the inside were nice and soft. The fruit salad and avocado were great. Just wish they didn't put grapes due to it being lethal for dogs. I gulped down the grapes so fast just in case my dog tried to get at my plate. I'd wanna try their chorizo burrito next time.

Best vegan breakfasts! Hashcakes are unique and crispy delish towers of potato goodness, either plain or topped with options like guacamole, cheez, or mushrooms. French toast stix are the best vegan version I have found anywhere. Fun to come out to the beach, sit inside or out on the sidewalk. Gets busy later in the morning on nice weekends.
Only took one star for service. When getting take-out, multiple times they have forgotten to give me items in my order - I've learned the hard way, always check your bag before leaving!

Had an excellent brunch at beach'n this weekend. We ordered the french toast, tofu scramble, and kombucha, which they have on tap. Everything was delicious. The french toast was phenomenal.

Beach'n is a casual spot thats a block from the beach and the menu is 100% plant-based/vegan. Order at the counter and they bring to your table. If you dine-in, everything is served on real plates/silverware/glasses, not single use. There's outdoor seating and a spot to park your bike. Service was fast and friendly and the place was super clean.

      Thanks for a great time!

I am neither vegan nor vegetarian, but I came here with a friend who was -- and I was pleasantly surprised! We got tofu scrambles and everything was pretty tasty and filling, much needed especially after a Land's End hike. I saw the mushroom hash on the menu looked quite good too, would definitely be open to coming here again in the future!

I'll start off by saying I'm not vegan, which is no secret. I'm not even vegetarian. However, as someone who has had to deal with cutting cholesterol, I appreciate places like Beach'n that serve vegan food. I also love that it is close to home and close to the beach (hence the name!)

I had the tofu scramble and the salted caramel latte with oat milk. Both pretty good! I didn't realize the condiments like ketchup and hot sauce was in an area by the front door and not at each table, so I ate my food without it. It wasn't too much of a bummer, but I'll know next time.

The staff is very nice. You order at the register and they bring your food to you. There isn't a ton of seating, but I went on a Sunday around 11 and it wasn't bad at all.

A cute breakfast/brunch place located right by Ocean Beach! They have a good amount of seating inside - we had no issue finding a seat when arriving at around 10am on a Sunday.

I ordered the Tofu Scramble - very flavorful, it's easy to forget it's vegan! It comes with small pieces of hashbrowns and fruits. The portions were a good size as I couldn't finish it and had some leftovers for snack for later :)
