I wanted to try out a different truck and decided to have their BBQ spicy beef plate drizzled with Spicy Mayo.
They gave a good PORTION of spicy beef, however, their rice texture was as if they were going for a THICK congee.
Anyways, I'd recommend y'all order anything that does not have rice!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Jul 19, 2023
The beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi were both ok. The beef bulgogi seems to have a lot more moisture than I'm used to so the texture was a bit too mushy for me. It has the standard sweet bulgogi taste but can use more saltiness. A bit pricey at $17. The spicy pork bulgogi has a bit firmer texture, spicy as expected. I preferred the pork bulgogi over the beef. The staff was very nice.

Their bulgogi wasn't the best but wasn't the worst. The portion looked small in the container however it was actually a decent portion as I couldn't finish it all. Wish they did some sprouts or something more akin to Korean food because the side of salad was basic for the price of the plate.

*Food truck review*
2nd meal at one of the Earthquake's game, but my boyfriend and I shared a previous meal from another food truck only because we like trying different places. We shared the Korean BBQ Rice Plate with Spicy Bulgogi Beef and for the price, this place gives a big portion! Everything had so much flavor too!

Good food and service. Their bulgogi chicken was really good. Kimchi tofu fried rice was good especially with the spicy mayo.

Love how this food truck is so close to home! Tried to order through the app but the address was showing incorrectly so I called to verify. Owner was so nice and accommodating and took my order over the phone. I ordered 2 beef bulgogi burritos and 1 chicken teriyaki plate (rice and salad) and she asked when I'd like to pick it up. It was ready to go 20 minutes later. I pulled up and she greeted me by name! Told her I was going to post in Yelp and asked her to lose. LOL

Holy moly - this was a great Friday surprise. We were lucky to get this truck at our Avalon complex. We didn't really know what to expect, so we were pleasantly surprised by the food quality, service, and quantity. I know some places are struggling in this new Covid world, so at most other places prices go up while everything else goes down. This was NOT the case with this business. We got hella tasty food - a lot of it - and it was served with a smile. It looked like a family was running the kitchen, which shows in the food. They had an efficient system and the food was made with care.
If I had to compare it to anything - I'd say it's up there with Korilla BBQ in NYC. If you're unfamiliar with it, they were featured in the Great Food Truck Race years ago. Since I couldn't travel back home, I was especially excited to have found this truck.
We got the bbq beef burrito and the spicy pork bowl. Between the two, the pork was our fave. We pre-ordered from the website set up for apartment complexes - the options there are more limited than what you can order in-person. Lessons learned from this time around: we'd probably just order at the window since there were a lot more choices (bulgogi nachos, Korean bbq Philly cheesesteaks etc.). We'd be curious to try those or maybe something with chicken. Overall - my husband and I are 100% satisfied with our meals and are excited for when it comes around again. PS- ask for the orange sauce. It's crack. No pics this time...bc we ate too fast.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Business owner information
