I don't know how they think they can get away with bullying people. The person we dealt with has some kind of superiority complex, talking down to people. If you ask for an understanding of the different types of flooring they will act as though you should already know.

Took 2 months to do an incomplete job. The owner always had an excuse about something. The job itself was ok, but the details and cleanliness were very bad. I have a daily list of what was done and not done and a time table of when things were done. Not professional at all and very sloppy.

Splatters of grey mud and grout left everywhere. Most walls have white specs of old grout that were left behind from old grout removal. Plants outside front door has red dust from tile being cut. Tile chips left on driveway with few cigarette buts.

4 stars instead of 5 only because they refused to honor the Yelp coupon. We were told the company did not approve, it was generated by Yelp.
Baytown floors has a great selection. The sales and installation staff is very knowledgeable. The installation was fast, painless and looks amazing. We had one small section that we felt was not floated just right, they came right out and corrected.

Everything was bad, and still is. I felt we were lied to. Misled. When I asked questions, I felt like I was dismissed. Not once did a representative come check the progress of the Installation. Things were broken in our home, like the gas line to the stove as they removed it and a window sill. We were told that it would not matter what color grout we chose since we won't be able to see it. we wanted the tiles almost touching. The grout is very visible and actually very deep! It's uncomfortable to walk on.
And almost immediately after completion, holes and chips began appearing in the grout. 27 to be exact the first time I called to complain. Then I called them back repeatedly to come repair the holes. I did that a couple months then got tired of it. Their solution was for me to keep calling, having to schedule someone to come fill them. Or I could fill them myself. When you spend thousands of dollars, you shouldn't have to repair anything in the first year! Ridiculous. Tiles are out of line. So some are higher than others. A guy came out to look at repairing it, I scheduled a day for him to come back and fix the high tiles, he never came. Never called. No one from the store ever called to check and see if I was happy with the repairs. Many months after installation, I find a plastic grout spacer embedded in the grout. They just grouted right over it!!! And about a year after our installation I find a piece of the old carpet sticking up out of the grout. and today, about a year and a half later, I find another plastic tile spacer embedded in the grout. I'm so disgusted at how much we spent and this is the mess I'm left with. I never felt listened to. They seemed to be annoyed with me. It took me doing all the calling. They wouldn't show up for weeks to tack down a piece of the carpet. It was so unprofessional. So I guess I'll be finding these spacers for years to come as I clean.

When flooring was first installed everyone was nice and accommodating. Three extra boxes of flooring were ordered that the workers were instructed to take back to the shop and I'm like that ain't happening. I paid for it, it's staying here. Same thing with the carpeting that was ordered. Had a whole room left over. I kept that too. No telling how many people they have done that too. Would periodically drop in to check on them and they would be in my fridge getting the food and drinks placed there by them. No one gave them permission to use my fridge. Came in and walked in on a guy in my bathroom fixing his hair. Worker spit on my subfloor before covering with the flooring. Left concrete on my walls. Left a mess on the porch that they had to come back and clean up. Super nice to you when they are quoting the job but don't need them to do anything else because you will never hear from them again. Would defiantly not recommend at all. Flooring is nice and they have a nice selection to choose from but their professionalism is lacking now. I have had my flooring for almost a year now and have an issue that I need the company to address and they will not answer the phone or call back after leaving numerous messages.

I stopped by after Harvey, to see what they had to offer. I looked around for about 10/15 min. There were 2 other people there browsing as well. No one acknowledged we were there, the sales people were all talking with their friends. HORRIBLE customer service. I left!!

Everything about my experience with Baytown Floors was bad. I tried to talk to the owner/manager about the discrepancy in the price I was told and the official quote. He continuously talked over me, would give shady answers to questions - if he answered them at all and just flat out was not honest. Pay close attention if you decide to use them. Good luck.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! We found them online and stopped by to see their selection. We spoke with Helmi who is the owner or manager who told us our job of about 760 sq ft. would be done in 3 days. After shopping around we decided to use them. To save them time I moved all my furniture myself that way they could show up and get right to work. His crew showed up on a Monday, worked until noon, then called it a day and said they would be back tomorrow!!?? I called and spoke to Helmi who assured me they would be done in the 3 days since there would be more than 2 guys. Tuesday morning comes and the same 2 guys show up a little after 9:30am and was told a third was on his way . . . He never came! Eddy the contractor doing the floor says he does not know why Helmi said 3 days because he will not be done until Friday. I call Helmi again to inform him and assures me that they will be done Thursday. This goes back and forth until Saturday at about noon then they finally finished. Even though it took twice as long as we were told they still left uneven spacing, dirty appliances and cabinets, and I had to fix my glass storm door which they somehow broke. I had to give at least one star but it should have been -5. Save yourself the headache and find another place.
