Bayshore Restaurant

We love this place. We usually go out of our way or make any excuse when close to the area to come for chicken tenders and/or pizza. The dining room was recently redone and it looks awesome. I highly recommend.

I only got a take out pizza from here but it was really good. It's more of a thin crust which I like. It wasn't all cheese. Alot of places skimp on the sauce but this pie was a good mix. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was because I didn't have a sit down meal. The place looked nice and the service was friendly, so not giving it 5 stars might be unfair. I will definitely go back though

I have never in all my time returned a whole order anywhere. There was no quality control. I never would have let this order leave my kitchen. Then when I returned with our whole order and asked quietly for a manager there was no mention of a remake. All she said was what's the problem I explained the issue and that was all. Never said I will remake your order properly .I would have had no problem waiting for a good meal that I had paid for. Manager was not who I would have in front she is losing you business. I work and live in the area. Would not recommend " homemade eggplant fries that were so burnt in old oil they were inedible , medium spinach pizza with barely any spinach and a medium meatball that has seen better days for $60.00.

Great Pizza and and even better Stromboli. Always order takeout from Bayshore. The Stromboli made with Ricotta cheese is fantastic.

Food was great. Steamed clams casino were wonderful, no sand, great flavor and not over steamed into rubber. I had a NY strip steak that was perfectly cocked, steamed garlic broccoli was not overdone. Eggplant parm, homemade pasta, soup, salads all great. We've driven past this place about 200 times, looks like nothing outside, but the food is wonderful, and Kevin the nice young waiter was exactly what a waiter should be. He deserves a raise. Hopefully the food is consistent(always the problem with restaurants). We'll be back soon.

In from AZ and wanted a cheesesteak. Did not disappoint! 5 stars!! Nice spot in ocean view nj!!

This went from being my favorite restaurant (back when they were half the size) to "Who didn't get sick?" Only ordered six items. Four were missing something. Marsala was awful.
We still love you Betsey, but it might be time for another new chef.

My family had the worst expierence st Bayshore this evening. My son who has celiac disease and need gluten free which they advertise. His order was mishandled from the outset. Our party waited over an hr for regular food . His came out different than he ordered and had 2 meatballs on the pasta. Fortunately we asked about them and they were not gluten free, which could have been a huge problem. Another 15 min and his order came out and the pasta was horribly undercooked, oh and if you want bread its
an additional $6.00.
The food is normally good but tonight they have lost our business. They did take his meal off the bill and we did not end up in the ER so I guess that's something

Great little spot with a nice dining room. Good for family pizza and apps or if you want to have a Italian dinner. They have specials including prime rib Sunday's. Waitress was very kind and attentive. They take temp for Covid protocol and it was very clean.

Wow this place was great! Everyone's food was delicious, service was great, and ambiance was really nice. We really had a wonderful family dinner!
